A woeful, expensive mistake a company not remotely true to its word. they claim they passionately want to exceed expectations! Ha! lacklustre design service, like pulling teeth, not one original idea was forthcoming from Stephen. Regretfully we continued to place the order - paid £500 for delivery to a first floor new build after hiring a building approved temporary ladder (on Stephen's instruction) at a cost of £400 and the delivery men refused to walk up it. we paid builders to carry it upstairs and the fitter did the most appalling job of removing the support work inside the carcass by smashing them out with a mallet. He was satisfied with the splintered cabinets and we were not. After much argument they were replaced by another passive-aggressive fitter called Lemi who also did a nasty job. The business owner Mark defiantly refused any face-to-face meeting with us, taunting us to complain as he didn't care, nothing to do with him despite having £23,00 of our money. avoid at all costs. dealing with Schmidt has been a deeply unpleasant experience. Schmidt Kitchens take your money and give a substandard kitchen in return whilst misleading the purchaser by claiming to be a professional outfit. Both Jai and Mark at Dorking Schmidt have been an incredible source of knowledge, vision and support throughout the planning of our kitchen renovation. Unfortunately due to building delays we've started this process with Jai and team nearly 18months ago. However they have been nothing but patient and supportive and eased any worries we had. Fantastic service from Schmidt Kitchens Dorking from initial design planning right through to installation. The whole Schmidt team (Mark, Jai and Lemi) were excellent and very professional. A special mention to Jai who was our designer and who spent many hours with us fine tuning our design. He was absolutely brilliant and was very patient with us when we kept changing our minds. we could not fault the after care service either. There was a problem with our worktop and Schmidt dealt with it in a timely manner. We're so happy with our new kitchen and are really pleased we chose Schmidt. Any design we wanted they could make and they had a vast selection of materials and colours to choose from, which made us happy. Also, all of their fitters/installers were fantastic. We couldn't be happier with the final outcome. Now we are very excited to see how our office turns out and I'm sure we'll be in for a pleasant surprise! All of our projects with Schmidt didn't linger on (which unfortunately normally happens with all other companies we have been dealing with!), Schmidt handled everything so efficiently and the turnaround was fast, we never had any problems. They made what would have otherwise been stressful, so enjoyable and stress free. Every time we walked into their showroom/office, we were greeted warmly by Jai, Mark and Renee. We truly enjoyed each and every consultation and they very quickly became like a family! I could go on and on but I think you get the point!
