The other table sent back their wine for being too warm (we got the same wine and it was not too warm) and this table acted very demanding and entitled, bossing around the waitress and being extremely rude to her (for no reason other than they were mean people). She handled it SO well and with such grace, I was extremely impressed at how professional she was with this table of rude guests (I would have not been nearly as nice as she was to the mean guests). She attended to everyone in a timely manner and held her head up high as she was being berated by the guests. I will definitely eat here again because of our good food, cute ambiance, and amazing professional waitress. Thanks!

Nothing classy, but nice, cozy and very enjoyable. They have been around for decades and have had the same menu ever since they first opened in the 60s. They will not give you a paper menu, but don't worry and trust what they serve you. I grew up eating here and have brought every tourist I know here. My suggestion is to get: antipasto (for everybody), tris di primi (4 people=2 servings is enough) and grigliata mista. The bread was a little hard - but we were the last customers on Sunday night and I assume it was baked and sliced early that morning. (Since this is Italy after all, I feel the bread is an important element!) We shared a medium pitcher of the house red, which was nice... and at the end I ordered vino santo which is served with biscotti for dipping. (We did not have dessert.)
