You know what I love about Logan Square? Everything is within walking distance. From the Franklin Institute of Science to the Cathedral Basilica. Everything is there. I love that all the museum buildings and other points of interest are close to each other. They even have big maps posted around the square. I took a picture of one of the maps with my digital camera and used it as a guide. I visit Philadelphia often, so I'm glad this place is close to our hotel.

As we continued our Friday afternoon/evening walk around the city... the next place we stopped was Logan Square Park. To begin in Philly, I wanted to see if it was always Sunny(See It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia). I know I know... locals are probably rolling their eyes at me right now. To add to the sunny was this park. The opening theme music for Sunny has a shot of this park so naturally I had to visit this park at some point. This park is beautiful. There's not much to it and that's why I like it. It has a fountain, several benches, a few trees, and some history. It's one of the original 5 squares that started Philly. The others being Franklin, Rittenhouse, and Washington. The fifth one is where city hall is now... also amazing. Other reviews complain of the homeless. We didn't have that issue around the 6-7ish PM timeframe. I expected slim to moderate panhandlers while being in Philly. We weren't bothered at all. There was a time or two where we were asked for money but those folks were asking as we walked by. They didn't leave their bench or anything. If you want a starting point for your Philly trip then visit Logan Square Park. There are so many museums close by... take your pick.

Never seen frogs and turtles with projectile vomiting before... Pretty fountain and well-groomed lawn for this small park. Great place to lounge and read on as summer day. Just don't think about the fact that it used to be the site of public executions! TRIVIA: Logan Square is one of the 5 public squares that formed the original layout of Philadelphia. 3 of the others (Rittenhaus, Franklin, Washington) are still active while the last became the site of the historic city hall.

Hands down the most glorious fountain in Philadelphia!! (I swim in it every summer!)

Park rules...which no one seems to follow...lol

Cute little park with a majestic fountain in the middle. Though its tiny, Logan Square Park is incredibly clean. Kudos to the Parks Department! The edge of the park has some green space with shade, an awesome respite from the sweltering summer sun. This park also has a few benches. There is a sign that says no swimming, but I don't think that means you can't splash around. I saw children romping in the fountain on a hot day and I envied them. Splash on kiddies, splash on!

Expensive unless you are going to the museum next door in which they make it only $18.00 to park.

Cheapest parking, everything was self explanatory, and clean. And they do recognize the Parking App.

I parked in your love, park location and was unable to exit the garage. There were two payment…read morekiosk machines in the lobby. One side of the kiosk was inoperable, the other kiosk machine did not take cash and would not allow me to make payment. I press the button for help and spoke with a customer service rep who informed me that I can check out at the gate and pay cash with the office. When I got downstairs to the gate, there was a gentleman standing at the gate. I explained to him what happened upstairs at the kiosk he said I would need to speak with the manager for me to park and go inside and speak with the manager. I explained to him that my feet was killing me. They were swollen and that I would be painful. He said no problem. I will get the manager to come out to you. I sat there. The manager did not come instead. I press the help button after about 3 to 5 minutes at which time I spoke to someone who said they were gonna call into the office and when she came back to speak with me, the lady who had answered on the help button, she stated that the manager said I need to go walk to a store and get a prepaid card so that I can check out of the Garage. I explained to her that that will be impossible for me to do as well because my feet and ankles were extremely swollen. I was not gonna walk to a store, and I was given this information by one of your customer service reps at the kiosk in the hallway and that was unfair to me to have to sit there with cash in my hand, attempting to get out and still could not . While I was speaking to the customer service representative, a woman in a white car pulls up and she said that her name was Fatima to the lay on the help button told the person on the kiosk to hang up that she will handle it. She she stated to me, she didn't know who the man was that had answered up in the lobby when I pressed the help button, but I need to use a card or I can't get out. I explain to her that he told me to come downstairs that I will be able to pay cash she stated that there was a sign when you enter the garage that says this is a cash, only garage assign in which I did not see upstairs on the kiosk, there are slots for cash, which gives the frozen impression that the machine takes cash. When I spoke with the customer service rep. He stated that I can pay cash downstairs since the machine the only operable machine was not taken my cash this inconvenience and misinformation cost me about 30 minutes of my life sitting there going from upstairs attempting to use the machine to downstairs walking to get my car going to the gate and then being told that I cannot get out so I sat there until I figured it out, I had an emergency card which I never use so I was able to use that to get out. To add insult to injury, the app was not working this morning, so I had to get a ticket and upon paying for the ticket it charged me $26 instead of the normal $19 that he charges me every day. This has been an utter inconvenience.

My wife and I park here once per year! When we come to the Philly Christmas Market, and Reading…read moreTerminal Market. This place is mostly located under love park in central Philly. It is hard to find the entrance... It is 1 block north on cherry street in the middle of the block! Unless you know where it is, it is hard to find... And the street signs here aren't helpful at all! Parking here is a tad bit confusing as well... If you stay close to the entrance, that is where the elevator is to the exit inside the park. It is a fairly clean parking lot, there is the odd paper / trash here and there, but nothing major. It is an unstaffed parking garage!!!!! They recommend using the app, an boy oh boy is it hard to use... my wife wants to kill me every year hahaha!!! Luckily we live 2 hours away and it gives her plenty of time to learn it over and over again! All in all we park here because of the location and the discount we get from the app... So if you are doing anything here or within a block or 2 its worth it.
