He was hospitable, knowledgeable, sweet, and so accommodating. He absolutely made our stay wonderful! Next, our accommodations were amazing. We felt like we were in Europe. The room was perfect and so clean! It was huge, spacious, and luxurious. we can't stop raving about it! Lastly, the hotel location is unbelievable - right in the center of everything. Close to fine dining, fine shopping and sight seeing! We can't wait to come back and stay here again!!

Amenities: front desk staff is very helpful, free wifi, free calls to the US and Canada, shopping and cafes are very close, Place des Arts metro station is nearby. This was one of our stops on our Canadian/ New York road trip in June. This location was literally…read morethe most crowded part of town mainly because it was right down the street from the Basilique Notre-Dame de Montreal a very popular tourist destination. As it turned out the schools were on break and we saw many groups going into the Cathedral. We found a perfect little shop that we got our room supplies at and went there twice to stock up. I'm not one to buy the offerings they had in the room. I was surprised that there were 2 bottles of wine, nuts and other snacks. The room was overlooking the street and like I mentioned the area was hopping well into the night but we didn't mind the noise stopped around 11 p.m. We then realized what a great location this was and wandered around the neighborhood endlessly. For most of the trip we walked and didn't use many Ubers, and we got a rental car for the trip. The room itself was very nice and clean but the maids needed to be more attentive with the garbage removal. I always try to connect with the housekeepers when I stay at a property and tip them right off the bat and let them know my room number, this usually helps a great deal with the level of service provided. But the garbage started to pile up so I emptied it myself.

They really care about providing top notch service and the staff make sure to accommodate their guests needs in a timely fashion. They have recently started renovating the hotel; rooms, restaurant & bar, event halls and lobby. And I believe they have done a great job so far. The rooms are spacious and very quiet. The garden view rooms provide a great view. Everything you need is either provided in the room or you can ask and it will be available in a short time. One of the great initiatives they have is to make a donation for every bight you don't request change of towels, which I believe it's a positive step towards helping the environment.

We loved our stay here at Hyatt Centric Montreal!…read more Staff were so friendly and accommodating. I never had to open a door once and the way they treated our toddler was amazing. Our room didn't have an incredible view of the city but the room itself made up for it. Bed was very comfortable, beautiful shower with all the toiletries, and spacious. We loved our stay in this room! We absolutely LOVED the rooftop pool which was heated and had an incredible view of the city. The pools closes at 10pm so we definitely made use of it for those night time views of the city while we were swimming! The bar/ restaurant was fantastic as well. Though we did not eat there the bartenders were top notch. I asked for the cocktail of the day and the bartender was so excited saying this will be the best drink of your life. When he was making it you can tell he was a professional with all the steps going into this trip. When I saw he even decorated the foam I was beyond impressed. This was definitely the best drink I had in Montreal! Outside of the hotel amenities one thing that sticks out is the location to old Montreal. Everything is in walking distance and it is a quick walk to some amazing cafes for breakfast and a 10 minute walk to Old Port and metros. I would 100% recommend this hotel if you are visiting old Montreal. We had a fantastic time!

I chose this Hyatt for my most recent stay in Montreal after learning that the hotel at which I had…read morestayed the past few times had significantly increased its rates for that weekend, plus I'd recently signed up for Hyatt rewards and such. Of the 2 Hyatt's in the area, while the other one was actually in an even better location, this one wasn't bad, and it had services more in line with what I wanted. My first night there, I had issues with my room. I could not get the room cool, and there was an intermittent but non-stop buzzing in the wall in-between the bed and the bathroom. The next morning, when I asked about possibly moving to a different room, I was told they were fully booked, but if I came back after 2pm, something might become available. I came back around 2:45, and rooms were indeed available. The second room had no problems, and the rest of my stay in that room was very comfortable. The parking garage ($25CAD/night if not using Valet) was awkward to drive to from the main entrance, but it was otherwise convenient, with unlimited in/out, as long as you had your ticket validated at the desk each time. But since the hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the Metro, I had no need to go out in the car at all until checkout. The pool is on the roof of the 14th floor. It's small for a pool but adequate, with plenty of lounge chairs at the pool level, more chairs and tables nearby, and evidently a pop-up bar that never managed to be open around the times I was there. The hotel's restaurant/bar is very nice, and I reviewed it separately. Perhaps this is my new favorite hotel in Montreal? We shall see.

Nathaniel checked us in, helped with our bags, and made us feel so appreciated and welcome. He booked our dinning reservation FOR US. We booked two and were able to stay on the same floor and spend time in both rooms. The hotel itself makes you feel like you're staying with family in the way they brought up our coffees and breakfast. Parking is right behind the hotel and while it's not a hotel parking, the guys there are solid. Thank you Hotel Epik for being so wonderful! 1000/10!!

The proprietor, Andres, was friendly and warm. When I asked for a local Asian eatery for dinner on the first night, he recommended a nearby place which was great. He was attentive to ask me if there's anything I do/don't eat for breakfast. Speaking of which, breakfast at this place was one of the highlights, I had different items everyday and they were delicious. The room was stylish and well-kept. I am very sensitive to noise, and the room was quiet and clean. One thing about the room is that there is no door for the shower and toilet. The toilet was separate by curtains. I really enjoyed the music system in the room, it sounds amazing and it changes the type of music in the morning and in the evening. The patio is also quite amazingly beautiful. I really enjoyed my weekend in Montreal, and this B & B was part of that fond memory. I was a single traveler and they were very kind to me. I definitely look forward to return for another visit.

Stayed here during between Christmas and New Year's. I was going to give it only a 4 star review,…read morebut I realized that would be unfair as I tend to shy away from Bed and Breakfasts in general. They can be a little too intimate for my taste. (breakfast with strangers, etc) However, if I reviewed the place as if I was into B&B's, it makes more sense to give it five stars. First of all, you can't beat the location. You go down the street a half a block, take a left and go over one more block. There's the subway which is only one stop from a main hub. (or you can find plenty to do along this line. For example, the Underground Mall is located on the Green line. The interior is very nicely done. Not over the top. We stayed in the room with the toilet being separated only by a sliding door. I think this room would be more comfortable for someone staying there by themselves, or for a couple who has been together for 20 years. We were able to check out the other rooms before others arrived, and I can say I was jealous! They are all nice rooms, with two opening up to a patio. As another poster said, a nice touch is the built in radio. The volume is controlled by a main switch. Makes for a very relaxing atmosphere while getting ready or just hanging out. The breakfasts were VERY good. It wasn't just the actual taste, but also the presentation. Really felt like being in a fancy restaurant. I wanted to steal the dinner settings and the slippers they provide you with. (I didn't) They also have a very cute dog who doesn't bark at you or anything. Just minds his own business and looks all adorable sitting by your chair. Doesn't beg, just lays there. (Probably secretly hoping you'll drop a crumb) Wanted to steal him too. The owner was very helpful in suggesting things to do and making us feel welcome without "hovering".

Even though the rooms are probably considered small, they don't feel quite so small due to the boutique and space and energy saving aspects of the rooms. The bed was comfy the bathroom was unique in that it had a bench below the towel racks. The room keys double as your proximity door lock and as a master on/off device for your lights. The 7th floor has an outside terrace with a nice view of the surrounding area. The hotel does not include a restaurant, but food options and coffee service are available. There are a few restaurant and fast food options in the vicinity. However, the hotel is not convenient to the Metro. Your options are to get a bus, a ride, or walk a minimum of 12 minutes. Rooms are relatively quiet but not soundproof - you will hear neighboring doors close, the elevator if nearby, and traffic outside. I wish that either the blinds were a bit better at blocking light or that room-darkening curtains were available, as street light did shine through the blinds at night. Parking is available in a garage under the hotel, however the price per day goes up if you take your car out on any day(s) . My stay here was pleasant, but I personally prefer a hotel closer to the Metro when in Montreal.

I would only recommend a towel bar or hooks in the bathroom, change the battery in the clock, and larger mug cups in the kitchen. We enjoyed one of the three restaurants. The location was fantastic for site seeing around Old Montreal and was a short walk away from metro stops and the island ferry. I decided to eat here for breakfast on my last night, and while it was a little expensive (29 CAD), it was solid hotel food (3/5). The food was your typical "American breakfast" of eggs, sausage, bacon, yogurt, fruit, etc plus a few more French Canadian options like croissants, pain au chocolat, charcuterie, and chia seed pudding. Hotel service was great! They came by every day, which is rare these days. The room provided a nespresso machine + pods and tea which they refilled every day, along with espresso cups, a water carafe, water glasses, and a refrigerator. My floor had a water station where you could get filtered water, ice, and more glasses if needed. Typically hotels make you go to the gym to get filtered water, so having it available on floor was really nice. I've stayed at a lot of Marriott hotels and this one ranks towards the top. Clean, not too fancy, practical with the drink service, decent food, and great location.

This hotel is somewhat centrally located to all the sites and sounds I want to visit during my trip to Montreal including Old Montreal, Chinatown, McGill and Saint Catherine. As a Marriott Bonvoy member with status there was a welcome plate of macarons and sliced fresh fruit when I checked in which was a really nice touch. There is also an onsite restaurant which makes great french toast too! Onsite self parking was north of $40 but included in and out which is nice. The parking spots were incredibly tight so if your not skilled best to leave parking to the experts onsite.
