I have never written a review for a Funeral Home or ever thought I would. However, I must say that…read morethe service my family and I received was top notch, A-1 and First class! I could never say enough about the care and professionalism, comfort and patience the staff at Johnson and Son showed my siblings and I as we made final arrangements for my Momma. There were no pressure sales, no guilt trips, or playing on our emotions. They had a wide selections of options and were able to meet all of our needs. We were pleasantly surprised and deeply appreciative. I would highly recommend them for your loved one's final care. And just in case you are wondering....this is unsolicited. Brenda Holmes-Dorsett

This place is a living nightmare! Gladys had no compassion or empathy within herself. Perhaps it's…read moretime to retire when you no longer have it in your heart to do what you once loved. Upon going into this hell of a place we were greeted with unwelcoming vibes. She never once looked at us or said her condolences. I introduced myself to her and the others at the table and she simply said "oh you are the sister". Unsure and uneasy of her comment we continued. In my head I'm thinking (peace be still). Once the paperwork (money part) was complete. Gladys tapped her paperwork on the desk and said, "well that is that". A few days later the obituary part was needed from the family. It was typed, proofed and sent (copy paste style) via email to Gladys. Somehow there was misspelling, and typos once published. The funeral home didn't do their part to proof before publishing. It's supposed to be a business, but I guess a money hole is more accurate. The family requested for burial/funeral be set for Sunday. We had to have the funeral on a Saturday and the burial on a Sunday (like I said nightmare). The family asked for closed casket, the night before the funeral we received a phone call about opening the casket (are you seeing the nightmare yet). Such things are sensitive or at least they should be but here in this live nightmare not so much. If you want comfort in your heart this is NOT the place. If you want to be treated with respect this is NOT the place. If you want warm heart feeling with the knowledge your people are taken care of upon your request....THIS IS NOT THE PLACE....RUN....RUN....RUN!

Each change in the schedule reinforced the value of patience and adaptability, which are essential qualities in both writing and life's significant moments. My husband, Burrell Brown, passed away in late September. In handling the arrangements, I turned to Triad Cremations and Funeral Services. The funeral director, John McLendon, demonstrated exceptional patience as I needed to adjust the date several times to accommodate family members' attendance. His understanding made a challenging situation more manageable. The facility itself was pristine and welcoming, providing comfort during a difficult time. Many attendees remarked that the memorial tribute was among the best they had ever experienced. This speaks volumes about the professionalism and dedication of the staff, who were consistently kind, supportive, and accommodating. Having experienced such high-quality care and service, I have already made my own cremation arrangements with Triad Cremations and Funeral Services. My hope is to have a service that honors me in the same way my dearly departed was honored. I am deeply grateful for this place, which not only offers reasonable prices but also maintains a high standard of excellence. I wholeheartedly recommend Triad Cremations and Funeral Services to my friends and family. In addition to cremations, they also provide traditional burial services. Thank You Bonita Reid Brown

So much so that there is a 3 inch gully over his feet we went down there and the owner Eric agreed with me at first to, even pointing out the gators tire track to me. After several other excuses like it's maintenance, but no one has been buried there in that row for over 2 years and you can see nothing done to the other graves in that row. Then the ground was to soft to drive below him, which I must point out that there is no one buried below my dad. about 30 feet of unused land. Then Eric Anderson proceeded to tell me they had the right use that as a pathway. Me being upset at that point was an understatement!! The next day after I posted on the site( which they deleted and blocked me from commenting on) His Wife Megan Anderson tried to tell me it was from mowing, yeah right! Mowing season just got start by the way and if it's from mowing why doesn't it happen every where else in the park.. If I could give them no stars I would. They lied right to my face and tried to cover up the wrong that has been happening. Honesty and admitting to what was happening would have went along way.

They were condescending towards family members and secretive. My mother went there for respite, looking forward to it even, and through their neglect, ended up dying a week later. They lacked honesty and transparency and covered up the truth. She was so drugged up she never got to say goodbye to loved ones. She died in pain and fear. After her 5 day respite a family member pleaded with them to keep her through the weekend for medical observation because she had declined so rapidly there. They refused. She was dumped on an elderly family member in far worse shape than she was when she went to respite. She was in terrible pain, could not swallow, could not eat or drink or take her medication, and was confused. They provided no backup help nor did they provide pain medications or instruction as to how deal with her increased pain. She screamed and moaned and begged for mercy for almost 3 days until a visiting nurse got them to take her back. She was kept in a coma on morphine until she died 3 days later. The staff also seemed to lack cultural sensitivity to those with different religions or beliefs. My mother had a terrible death there and I regret ever trusting them or believing in their philosophy. Please do your research and homework before you send any frail elderly person here. I truly hope I can save one person from going through what my mother went through.
