Great, if you treat it as a bed and breakfast, but can be noisy based on room selection..
The grounds are perfect, well manicured gardens, statues, pond with a fountain and a set aside playground. The inside is incredibly decorated with Victorian period furnishings.. At night the hotel is like a bed and breakfast Sunday through Tuesday and shuts down and you are on your own. Otherwise the restaurant is open rest of the week. The bus passes directly in front of the hotel, but runs once per hour. We had a car, and went to the city center by parking at the train station. For $3.50 per day all day parking which includes a free bus ride for two.
Breakfast included in a great room with traditional Belguim cold food selections. Great People.
Negatives: Don't get a street side room period. TV English channels static. Some rooms are small others great. Choose and block a large room facing the garden and you will be very happy with your Bed and Breakfast. read more
