LockwoodHume was a nightmare to deal with. I ordered a chair on their website, and they sent me the wrong chair and it was broken. The broken part was probably the manufacturer's fault, but wrong chair was their issue. But then they just started ignoring my emails when I politely asked to send it back. I had to jump through all the hoops to get a credit card refund through my bank - which was painful and time consuming. 6 weeks after I had received my refund from the bank they suddenly say, "Someone is turning up tomorrow to take the chair back." and state that they have been trying to email me many times. This was a lie, and I asked them to provide proof of this. They promised to send it. At this point I was legally not obliged to give the chair back, it was already past the deadline for them to object to the refund. However I still packed the chair up nicely and sent it back. Anyone say thank-you to me for sending it back when I didn't need to? No. Anyone provide the proof that they had tried multiple times to email me as they promised they would. I placed my order online on Sunday and had my product the following Tuesday, bright and early. Through my limited experience with the company, I found them to be faultless. They've got a huge variety of furnishings, the delivery gentleman was polite and helpful (even offered to assemble the chair prior to leaving), and the website is easy to navigate during purchases. Edit: We bought a second chair (different model) for my husband's desk. The experience was as well-oiled as our first purchase.
