We drove in from Wimberley and Kyle was waiting for us at the door. Dr Medina came right in and gave Jasper and exam. We were under the impression we were going to have to put Jasper down yesterday afternoon. Instead, Dr Medina explained a few other options. Jasper received meds and fluids, and we took him home with us last night. Dr Medina and Kyle with both wonderful to us, compassionate and understanding to our situation. They both went above and beyond for our kitty Jasper, and we truly appreciate what they did for him. Thank you, Dr Medina and Kyle, for getting us in so quickly yesterday and taking such wonderful care of our Jasper!

But you're always taking a bit of a risk with a rescue, you're really not sure what you're getting and they typically are poorly trained. Paws in Prison trains each and every dog they put up for adoption. Luna was already potty trained and knew all her commands on the first day. In addition, you get a great feel for the personality of your new family member as each dog has been a cellmate for months with their trainers. Add to that the fact that you're helping these ladies get a start on a second chance, and Paws in Prison is a win/win. You get a great dog and at the same time help make the world a better place.

They are compassionate and take their time to hear us out and execute the best healthcare possible as needed. Yes can be a bit pricey for some services, but as pet owners we must all look at the future of the health of our pets as they get older and of course unfortunate events that may occur. We took out pet insurance through my husband's work and we also took advantage of their payment options while waiting to get our money back from the pet insurance company. We used scratch pay and were very satisfied with it. We were approved immediately and gave us peace of mind. Recently we lost our beloved Kaipo. We were devastated because we didn't know he had a tumor. Another vet told us that it was probably nothing and not to worry about it. But come to find out it was a tumor and it burst and he had to be put down because he was suffering. He couldn't walk! We brought him to Kyle Animal Hospital where they examined him thoroughly and found the internal bleeding. My fur baby of almost 16 years was put to rest one day before his birth and two days after my birthday. The compassion and the care we experienced with this place was truly heartwarming. It was a time of devastation and sorrow, yet they comforted us with caring and understanding. I take my other fur baby Faith here and my daughter's two cats. Which we took him specifically to get a haircut. Not only that but we paid $92 for a bath and nails cut amongst a few small other things but no haircut. I would have thought for $92 he would have had his haircut. But they said that would have been another $15. The environment when walking in was really nice though. They had a little store and treats and food. Our dogs name was actually on a sign outside when we pulled up welcoming here which was a sweet surprise. Sherri has always stayed in touch, both while we were waiting to receive them and after. She truly loves all of her dogs and puppies and I think that is why they are so "human" and love human interaction. She treats them like her kids or grandogs! She spends a lot of time with them and socializes the pups to be ready for their homes and love. My 2 are 4 and 5 yrs and have been healthy. Both are from Shadow and have had no indication of any health problems. Our vet says both are the sweetest huskies he's ever seen. Just like people in a family, all dogs can be different. it's also their current environment, food and exercise that you give them that can affect their personality. I have rescues as well. The only breeder I would use is Sherri. Our Leo and Lila are so sweet and fun and love to be loved on. I attribute this to Sherri and her care and knowledge. I have no reservation recommending her!

I have done a lot of research on this disease and understand that no one has yet been able to single out the gene which causes this disorder so it is hard for breeders to know if they are breeding down this gene. I however have been responsible in contacting her about this and was hoping she would at least retire the parents so as not so produce more pups with this disorder. I am not sure if any of her other clients have received puppies with epilepsy? As I said, the owner is so nice and I would never want to say or do anything that would affect someone's livelihood - but I believe it is the right of the consumer to know what they are truly getting. For spending this much on a dog it should be healthy and sound. I love my boy so much, and it hurts my husband and I every time he goes through a seizure.

The staff continued to work with her, to socialize with her, now they are able to bathe her and clip her nails. Yesterday, we had a birthday party at the house... Approx 15 adults and maybe 10 kids or so. Morgan did amazing! I was worried and kept her on a leash/harness for a bit, but she did just fine without it. I let her meet people as they game in, she followed Quinn's lead and mostly sat near me in-between people; but she let people come in and out without growling or barking, and accepted treats with paw shakes. I have always been worried about having ppl over -- The first couple times it went poorly enough that I have since avoided it -- so this was nothing short of amazing. I am thankful Audra's team did not give up on us and have helped us get to this point.

They asked us about every routine we had with them and where everything was i.e.: cat litter, meds for the one that is taking meds, any special instructions. This was for an overnight trip.
