I've used Miguel from Lock Mike two times to make spare keys for a Hyundai Elantra and a Kia Soul after my original keys were either lost or broken. Both times he came to my house the same day I called him (within just an hour or 2) and he was able to program and cut the keys very quickly and efficiently. I chose the aftermarket keys because they were cheaper but they work just as well, and one of them looks nearly identical to my OEM key. Miguel even had Kia and Hyundai logos that he was able to put on the keys so they look more legit. I got a few different quotes from other locksmiths in the area and he was the best price by a decent amount, plus it was super convenient that he came to my house while most of the other locksmiths asked me to come to them. Miguel even gave me a small discount on one of the keys since I had two made that time. He's also a very friendly guy and we had a nice conversation both times he helped me. Unlike other locksmiths, Miguel answered the phone and quoted me a reasonable price (less than half of what one other company quoted and a quarter of what the dealership wanted) to program a replacement fob for my Mazda. He was available the same day I called, and arrived when he said he would. He was friendly, professional, and patiently showed me how to replace the battery without breaking the fob (not always easy with this particular fob). Fast, great pricing, helped me when I was stranded in long term parking at RSW! I accidentally locked my keys in the car after a long flight, and he was there fast (he is the owner) and quickly unlocked the car. He also made me a copy of the key (I only had one) and he had GREAT pricing compared to the dealer and other locksmith I had called. Horrible all 5 star reviews are probably from family and friends don't fall for this trick this guy didn't know what he was doing now my car is not turning on and he won't answer my calls .... Apparently while trying to program the key he messed up my ecu computer which is costing me alot of money and on top of that I'm suppose to be moving to Wisconsin in the morning. Then the next day I had another Locksmith tell me that this mike or miguel whatever his name is, is not even an actual locksmith at all and that I'm not the first person who's car he messed up on. I wish I would have done more research. read more
