My mom and I went here at the recommendation of our tour guide. This was quite possibly one of the best meals that we've ever had! We started with an appetizer of octopus, green olive sauce, and potatoes, and the octopus was done perfectly! Next up was lemon ricotta gnocchi with shrimp and a zucchini cream sauce. These gnocchi were so light and fluffy, and the sauce was jam-packed with flavor! Our next course was pan fried mackerel with an eggplant caponata. This dish was the right combination of sweet and salty! My mom and I wanted to just eat the caponata by the spoonful! Since everything else was so delicious, we had to order dessert. Our server recommended the watermelon jelly, because it was a traditional Sicilian dish. The watermelon jelly was served with a crumble topping, cinnamon whipped cream, and chocolate shavings.
