These threaders could be fast or slow but they are very good at what they do. The shape always ends up being as good as you could have imagined or even better and they don't tear out your skin to get you the results. 2) are those threaders who appear to know what they are doing and may even do a painless job but the shape leaves you wanting more. They just do a good cleanup but in no way do they try to reshape the brows to achieve the "wow" factor. And finally 3) those are the ones you never ever want to see again. They not only mess up your brows but do so while either causing you pain and/or tearing your skin in the process. I have encountered very few people who fit into #1 and thanks to yelp have also been able to avoid a lot of encounters with #3's as well. Paru I would say falls into the middle of 1 and 2. She is very fast and she does a very painless job. For most of the time, she does deliver a good shape but from others I have tried, I know that the "wow" factor is not always there. I have left with a few pieces of hair that I notice afterwards and that's primarily because of the super fast job she is able to do. So why the 5*'s? In San Antonio, she had so far been my best choice. She is incredibly fast. She has never made me bleed or caused pain. For the most part she did try to work on the shape during the session and she is quite accommodating. If you've never tried threading before, she is definitely a good choice to start with.

You can claim a locker to place your belongings and then change into a robe and sandals provided for you. The room was dim and warm with a changing room, bathroom, and shower. Then you go to a waiting area with heated neck pillows where you wait to be called back. Marlene did an excellent job with my massage and I felt very relaxed. The tension is greatly relieved in my back. I will definitely be back!

They were kind, professional, and made me feel cared for. I would return to them in a heartbeat if they were at any other med spa. But my experience with Naz, the injector, was the complete opposite, and I feel truly betrayed. I trusted her, and that trust was shattered. I was never clearly told what everything would cost or how much filler she planned to use. I walked out having been injected with what I was later told was around 8 vials of product -- far more than I ever agreed to or even imagined was appropriate. Over 6k! I kept trying to explain the subtle, natural look I wanted, and I felt completely ignored. Right now, I look in the mirror and I barely recognize myself. My face looks overfilled and unnatural, like it's full of product I never wanted. The bruising is severe and still hasn't gone down even after four days. I can't describe how upsetting and humiliating this has been. I feel taken advantage of -- emotionally, financially, and physically. If you're considering this place, my honest advice is this: Only go to Stadia Med Spa for facials and laser treatments. Stay far, far away from their injector, Naz. We Wax is a full-service spa (don't let the name fool you) offering everything from waxing services to facials to eyelash extensions. I went in thinking I "needed" a very expensive eyelash service (what? I'm from Texas, a girl NEEDS pretty lashes, right??) only to sit down with my technician and discover there was a very comparable service at a fraction of the price. In the end, I was much happier with this service than ones I've paid much more for and am so thankful she was willing to bite the bullet that I wound up booking even more services in the future. Linda is as sweet as she is good at her job and more interested in a happy client than gouging your wallet that I am more than willing to try her out for other services. Her expertise in eyebrow waxing can't be matched and if you don't take my word for it you can trust that nearly all of her coworkers are also her clients. That says a whole heck of a lot. The salon is adorable and super clean.
