For Queensbury Location:…read more Let me start by saying this review is based solely on basic and respectful customer service skills. I'm writing on behalf of my mother who called today on 04/01/2025 at 11:02am regarding her mother (my grandmother) and the receptionist (didn't get her name) that answered was absolutely horrible. This staff member was completely and utterly disrespectful. She was telling my mother that my grandmother was not a patient (despite being a patient there for over a decade) and was telling my mother "No she's not a patient" and after going back and forth with my mother saying she was, the lady replied "Well you just need to hang on a minute". Then she finally found her and then said "Well she hasn't been here in two years so things change and we can't refill the script". When the doctor Christina Gow (who's an awesome doctor) told my mother she didn't have to make an appointment for my grandmother to be seen because she's been battling cancer and that the script could be refilled without a visit. This lady acted like she ran the place and was saying "That's not how we do things!" Even though my mother told her that's what the doctor told us. She also was saying how she was getting pissed off. Finally after telling her straight up, "MY MOTHER IS FIGHTING CANCER AND THIS IS WHAT THE DOCTOR TOLD US CAN YOU PLEASE FIND OUT AND NOT GO BACK AND FORTH WITH ME!" Then she replied "Well I have other people I have to take care of here just call me back". My mother fed up with this nasty and rude receptionist just made an appointment to to satisfy her even though she was totally bullying my mother on the phone and not respecting what the doctor had said to my grandmother about not needing an appointment. I want to reiterate that Dr. Gow is amazing and highly recommended. This staff member however is a horrible representation of this place she causes undue stress and is completely inattentive to any requests expressed over the phone. She needs a personality check or needs to be terminated. It's completely unacceptable how she treats patients over the phone and I can imagine how much worse it would be of how she treats patients in the office face to face. If the business sees this review please look into this staff member. Your business shouldn't suffer from one inept staff member who seems to be devoid of all human kindness. Also want to say that even though this is posted on 04/01/2025 this is NOT an April Fools joke. I wish it was because of how ridiculous this receptionist was acting.

After a traumatic arm…read moreand shoulder injury that required a titanium plate and 13 screws, I was in a lot of pain and far behind where I should've been in terms of recovery. My range of motion was limited, and the pain was interfering with even the most basic daily activities. From my first session, I knew I was in the right place. The staff was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also remarkably patient and encouraging. They took the time to assess where I was in my recovery and tailored a comprehensive plan just for me. What really stood out was their use of a variety of advanced techniques and the latest innovations in physical therapy to help reduce my pain and--most importantly--dramatically increase my range of motion. Thanks to their expertise and support, I've made progress I didn't think was possible. If you're recovering from a serious injury and need a team that truly knows what they're doing and cares deeply about your recovery, this is the place. I'm beyond grateful.

Within two treatments, I was suddenly able to move my arm and turn my head. Over the next 10 weeks I rotated through 5 of the 6 therapists. Each had their own methods, they kept it fresh. They patiently trained me on how to exercise, coached me to not overdo it. I would never have imagined that being anxious to heal could be detrimental, but I researched it, they are right. Everyone was spot-on professional, including the front office. They are also very nice (fun, even) to work with. I thought I would dread PT; I came to look forward to it. I highly recommend High Peak Physical Therapy. Jeff Merrigan and his associates are the best. by the way, I see Randy B's review. Jeff owns the place; he is actually a Dr. of Physical Therapy. When I first walked in, I was very nervous (as I was in great distress). Jeff was the gatekeeper of the PT process. By the end of treatment 2, I was confident I was going to get better. Jeff's an expert, he kept track of my progress. I never met Brandon; I suspect he has moved on. If I ever need PT again, I would not hesitate to come back to High Peaks. As it turns out, a lot of the people I know at the gym also recommend High Peaks.

I've been a patient of Dr. Love for more than 10 years and even brought my family to his office. He has always seemed competent and trustworthy, and I've relied on him through some of my most challenging health issues. Recently, however, I received a letter dismissing me from the practice over an unpaid $136 balance I didn't know existed. I was told letters and a voicemail were sent, but I never received them. With six people in our household, it's possible mail was misplaced but I have never been late on a payment in over a decade of care. I always paid small copays when in the office if necessary. A quick look at my record would have shown this was unusual. Ending a long-standing patient relationship over a small balance and a simple miscommunication, especially during one of the most difficult health periods of my life, is deeply disappointing. I've been in the office multiple times for this health issue, and my annual physical was scheduled this same month. I would have gladly paid the balance had I known. To make matters worse, my conversation with the office manager was frustrating and lacked any empathy. When I expressed my concern, she simply asked, "What should we do if there's a balance and we can't reach you?" A better approach would be to review each situation individually and consider a patient's history before making such a harsh decision. After 10+ years of trust, I was treated like a number. This experience has been disheartening. I can't imagine Dr. Love is aware of how his office is being managed, but I hope this feedback helps ensure no other long-time patient is dismissed so abruptly over a modest balance and poor communication
