I'm really amazed with the poor reviews for this company, as my experience has been both solid and professional, and the bottom line is that I am enjoying an improvement in call inquiries. What was promised to me has been delivered and then some. Each step of the process was explained to me clearly and no promises were made that have not been kept. I never once felt like this was not on the up and up and some kind of scam. Also, I really appreciate the post sales check-in phone calls from salesman Kevan, who has already called me twice to see if I'm happy with the service. This company called me representing themselves as Google, and how they could get my perfectly functional website on the first page of Google. They then fessed up and said they were an SEO Company. I had limited SEO Success with the people who designed my current website, so I took the time to get set up with them. They produced their own website with poor graphics, badly written text (They couldn't simply take the text from my original website, which again, was just fine). Once I rewrote the text for them, they had a website up and running. Well, they used keyword combinations that I did not recommend, because I know from doing this for five years now, that's not what people are actually looking for. I made several attempts to get them to change these things. They never bothered to do so. Finally after refusing to make even minimal effort, I finally made the decision to cancel them. It's been a week now, I still can't get them to pick up the phone and cancel, so I've had to file a complaint through my credit card company. I am beyond disappointed with Local LIghthouse of Tustin Ca. I am a Pinterest expert and host Live Pinterest Parties. The website they put together for my company gave the impression I was a party supply company. I called and expressed my concerns they said they would make the changes, after seven days the exact same content was still on the website. I called back and advised them this was not working for me, I have completely lost confidence in the work they were doing for my business and wanted to terminate our agreement and part ways. I was advised I couldn't do that since I signed a contract. I would have to pay a $450 termination fee in order to terminate. Wow you can't terminate a contract even though you are not satisfied with the work that has been done for your business. I have never heard something so ridiculous. Very aggressive sales approach. I can't believe I fell for it. As most people have mentioned, they say they are from Google, which they aren't. Glad I didn't sign up for web design, they "duplicated" my site and what they made is awful. I wanted to focus on SEO. After paying for SEO services for 7 months, they haven't given me any tips for keywords I should be using to get the best SEO. I asked them to make a few changes after a month, and what they changed was laughable. I went onto my account dashboard to try to cancel the account, but found the most disturbing information of all - they offer no options to cancel your account, or even see your billing history. In the future, I'm definitely checking Yelp before signing up for anything. The reviews here are all very very accurate. And I won't ever sign up for a telemarketing deal. I'M SO MAD THAT I FELL FOR THIS! I have a personal website that I think looks pretty darn good. I had just been doing a lot of research on SEO and page ranking and started creating listings around the inter webs to increase search ranking. They must have gotten my info from one the other sites. They called and said they were a Google affiliate and swore to me that I would have first page ranking with google. It all happened so fast. I was swapped around between like 3 different sales people all taking different information and before I knew it I was signed up...FOR A DAMN YEAR! The site they made is a JOKE! It's on the first page of Yahoo after the 90 period (which sucks actually, because I can't suspend payments and because the site looks really stupid). I'm so embarrassed for people to even go to this crap they made. Here's the actual complaint letter I'm about to send to them then decided to add my 2 cents to yelp as well: "Although, my page is listed on the first page of Yahoo, I'm really not happy about it, because the website is embarrassing. I seriously doubt that anyone will click through to my actual site, because they'll take one look at the page and move one to the next wedding photographer down the list. I'm really not happy with the quality of the site I received. I was rushed into an agreement by telephone that I didn't fully understand. Yesterday I signed up with one of their competitors, 29 Prime, without doing any research. Today I got a call from a salesman from Local Lighthouse, and when I told him I had already signed up with 29 Prime, he told me I had made a terrible mistake and warned me to check their Yelp reviews. Just as he claimed, 29 Prime has nothing but one star reviews. As a result, I cancelled my account with 29 Prime before I ran up a huge tab. Then I looked up Local Lighthouse and saw that they also have mostly one star reviews, so I won't be doing business with them either. Local Lighthouse has me on a robocall list. I have tried to unsubscribe to no avail. I have called their business directly to request placement on a do not call list, yet I keep getting unsolicited calls from their ad campaigns. They will robocall you frequently with a message asking to speak to the business owner. You have to press 1, then 2 to speak to a live person. That live person will hang up as soon as you as for any details. These are crooked marketers that do not respect privacy requests. They deserve zero stars. read more

I was mislead by this company and was forced to pay $99 to get out of the contract. I thought this company was affiliated with Google, they wasted hours of my time on the phone and lied about not being an SEO company. I signed the contract which, they didn't give me time to thoroughly read (my fault) and when, I called back to cancel they wanted to charge me $250. I negotiated then down to $99 to terminate the contract. When the contract was supposed to terminate they then, charged me an additional $99. This place has the worst and most aggressive selling tactics known to man. The third salesmen named William that called the business I work for IN THE SAME DAY, I had to place on hold due to a patient being in front of my desk. Somehow he managed to believe I hung up on him. After calling 6 times in a row, and leaving nasty voice messages, etc etc. I finally got on the phone with the nicest salesmen William after his 6th call.... As he proceeded to yell continuously in my ear going on and on and on about how I "hung up on him", etc. And so and and so forth. I got back to the doctor I work for and got to explain the situation and she proceeded to call them and explain she was not interested in working for them, as this was a red flag. William, that really nice salesmen, CALLS BACK TO THE OFFICE, and proceeds to ramble on for over 5 MINUTES about how unprofessional the business is, and how he hopes another business takes our business because "that's the way we conduct business". As he came to what I thought was the end of the conversation, I asked "Are you done"... and you guessed it. William wasn't done. I thanked him for confirming our refund and cancelled the business plan that was set in motion, and actually this time HUNG UP. The is the absolute worst behavior I've ever received from a cold calling sales man. If this business allows these type of people to work in their business, there's not a chance in hell I'd ever conduct any SEO business with them. When I complained about it they gave me the run around. The girl, Laura, claimed to be a manager kept saying ti wasn't her fault it was messed up and refused to escalate my call.
