After providing the specs I was told that the larger door was considered commercial so it would be $89. One thing that kept me from giving the last star was the 6 hour window they require. That just seemed ridiculous to me. Three hours into that window I was contacted that the technician was on the way. Sam was friendly and got right to work on the regular sized doors. Some silicone spray and also some multi-purpose low temp grease and those doors were done. The second reason I did not give the fifth star was that the tech came unprepared for the third door. I provided the exact dimensions but he did not bring a ladder tall enough to access the springs or motor. I let him use my ladder to complete the work. I inquired about an outside control pad and was quoted $300 for the pad but would have to purchase 2 sensors to be in compliance bringing the total to over $1K. I said never mind. I will walk 10 feet to the man door instead. The price to do the tuneup was very reasonable for the small doors. Not sure the larger door was twice the work of the smaller ones for double the price, but I am OK with it.

Great experience with Canyon Overhead Doors…read more We had 2, 35 year old doors that needed to be replaced. Okko at Canyon Overhead doors was very helpful, and was able to find the color and design we wanted, at a very competitive price. We opted for a higher quality door from Martin, and they are very nice. Canyon delivered and installed the doors on schedule. The new openers from LiftMaster are really nice, much quieter than the old chain drive units we had. The wifi capability and improved lights are also a nice touch. We had a small issue with the new seal, but Mike came out the next day and had it all repaired and looking beautiful. It's great to see someone committed to getting the job done right. I expect these doors will last many years, but if we have a need for garage doors in the future, Canyon will be the first firm we call.

I turned to Yelp and found this company and sent them a note for a quote. Early next morning I get a text to set up an appointment. They sent a fair price and wanted to set up an appointment for the following Monday from 10-noon. "5" stars to this point. I scheduled some personal time to be home for the appointment. This is where it gets a bit hairy. At 12:20 I send a text to see if they are still coming. Response back is that tech was delayed and will be there in about an hour. 2:08 pm I send a note to see if everything is okay? Another apology and they think he is almost done at the job before mine. ETA of 30-40 minutes or an offer to re-schedule. Cannot really reschedule since I took time off. 3:20pm I send a note that no tech has showed up. He arrives about 5 minutes later. Tech has the job done in about 40 minutes. I go to pay him and he tells me he doesn't have the ability to take Venmo or a check. I reach out to the anonymous text and am told they can take a CC for a 3% fee. Woof. Instead they email me a bill and I go find a checkbook and a stamp. The actual spring replacement was great and quick. I really didn't like being the one chasing down my appointment and felt that if someone is going to be late (or late again, or again) they should be reaching out to me.

Those include 1.) the best installed turnkey price for a new white Amarr 16'x7' Classica #CL3000 3-panel frosted window garage door with new Liftmaster 87504-267 belt drive garage door opener, 2.) bid responsiveness, and 3.) the customer service by the owner of AAA, Scott B. and his installation crew. After a downpayment to get the door ordered from Amarr, we waited around four weeks for the scheduled installation...which took place on the afternoon of Sept 12th. AAA's Tyler, Stockton, and Cash all hustled on the demolition of our 19+ year "contractor special" 4-panel door and vintage Genie screw-drive opener (which was OK, but the lights-on feature was broken and there were no safety devices on the door). That and the hockey puck dents in the door from the boys 15 years ago. The new door went up slower as all of the rails, spring shaft, springs, and associated hardware had to be brand new (due to the three-panel design). Then a fair amount of time was spent adjusting and aligning the door so that it was 'just right'. Tyler then gave me a grand tour of the new door, inside and outside controls, and maintenance (lubrication points.) Scott B, the owner of AAA even came by to check on the installation and installed the inside and exterior keypads himself. Overall, my wife and I are very pleased with AAA and the quality of the Amarr door...not to mention a tier 1 installation by Tyler, Stockton, and Cash who hustled and provided a fair amount of comic relief during the 3-hour installation process. My only complaint is that the Liftmaster #87504-267 opener - with its built-in security camera and cellphone app called "MyQ" is only free for 30 days (camera support.) After that, a subscription with Liftmaster (Chamberlain) is required. Bummer. But the camera-to-cellphone interface works great and is a nice security and peace-of-mind feature. It was a pleasure working with Scott B throughout the process and we are very pleased with the results. Five Stars for sales, installation, value, and support! Thanks, guys!
