I have never had a bad experience with Dr. Morris and he was always ready to give me a referral to a specialist when needed without any problems or delays. Dr. Morris always took the time to listen to what ever problems you were having medically and if he didn't know the answer, he would find it out for you. I loved it when it was just "Berkeley Family Medicine " as they were a full service doctors office ie... doing blood and lab work at their practice along with immunizations right in the office. I would have given a 5 star review except for the fact that when they changed to "Valley Health Berkeley Family Medicine" they quit doing blood and lab work and shortened their office hours by three (3) hours each day and are no longer open on Saturday. They also no longer give immunizations. The front desk staff are wonderful as they have always been. My new Dr. Nicols, Who took over for Dr. Morris when he retired had some mighty big shoes to fill and is doing a very good job in my opinion. The Physian Assistants are very knowledgeable and take a lot of time to get to know you and your medical complaint of the day. The nurses take time also to get to know you and they are all very friendly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this doctors office to someone looking for a family doctor.

Today I sent in a refill request through MyChart as I sit in an urgent care waiting room where I am paying a $40 copay to get 3 pills to get me through my work trip this week as I am having side effects of not taking it for 3 days now. This is the second time within the past year I have encountered a non-response or over 1 week delay in refilling my medication (I only take 1). Due to the delay in care, the non-response, and poor communication- I am changing PCPs after 5 years with them as there has been a trending decline in their care.

They have a little tv with health news on it in the reception area. Receptionist got me signed in and all my paperwork done right away. When I went back, nurse was friendly, did the normal vitals, all pretty standard there. The doctor himself had great bedside manner. He listened and did not rush me in any way. He addressed every concern I had thoroughly. He even was on the same page as me about addressing what issues I could naturally. Most doctors I've been to in the past won't even have a discussion about natural options. He was very kind and understanding which I feel is important for me to trust a doctor. Very glad I found this office.

I feel I was treated unprofessionally and now I have to go hunt down another doctor to get my medication I asked the nurse to give me at least one month worth of my blood pressure med till I found a doctor they flat out refused me...Beware of this office they will hold your medication hostage.

She will write you 112 ct.opioids month after month, with no random pill counts or random drugscreen, just your monthly drugscreen. People take their items in bathroom for their urine test. Doctor spends 5 minutes with patient. If she decides to take you off meds because they refuse to retest urine for antibiotic, just know that regardless of how bad withdrawal is, she won't help with symptoms. 112 ctx15 months of opioids=1,680 pills prescribed and she refuses to help take you off what she gives you. Staff says "go to addiction clinic". Then, she tells you that you are still a patient for "interventional" treatment, and then cancels the appointments you make, with no explanation. Office is horrible at returning messages. If you want opioids, Kristin is your kind of doctor. But, if you want a doctor that listens and cares about your pain, go elsewhere. She never wanted to discuss any of my healthcare needs. Their was never any exam by her or a referral anywhere for testing. They were charged with Medicare fraud, and they neglect their patients and abandon them in their time of need. I needed another hip injection due to severe pain and wanted to discuss Medtronics, which is non-opioid treatment that she agreed to in writing. People wonder why there's an opioid crisis, I alone received 112 count per month. Times that by the number of patients they see in a day! And to neglect helping with withdrawal is unethical, dangerous, and very harmful. When someone dies because of Kristin Williams neglect, maybe the world will open up their eyes to the problem.

The nursing staff made me feel relaxed and were all very kind. I had a provider and insurance for years through my husband's employer and while paying for that insurance plan, we were never able to schedule an appointment there. My family was paying to be seen at urgent cares instead while paying for a clinic that never had openings. I do highly recommend Valley Health and its staff for all of your family's needs. I wish I would have made the change years earlier.
