The worst experience possible. Where do I even start. I guess plain and simple, Ana doesn't know much about home loans. First Ana was giving us incredibly inaccurate expectations of loans we could use. She didn't know that loans were different based on a stick built home vs a manufactured home. This is huge change of interest rate from what she has originally quoted us. Next as rates were climbing rapidly, after several percent increases, Ana asked us if we would like to lock in the interest rate. Where is the common sense and common decency? Integrity? She clearly doesn't care about her customers. We found the home. Made the offer. Got accepted. In contact. Our interest rate we locked in at was feeling good but tight. A week before closing Ana realized a huge detail SHE overlooked. We didn't actually qualify for the loan she had us ready to sign. This was after several docusigns had been signed and thousands off dollars had gone into contract. Now we either lose our down payment or are forced into a loan with a higher interest rate by a whole percent more! Ana doesn't know simple math. She tried telling us several times that this monumental mistake she made would only cause a $30 change over the life of the loan it's over $210 per month price difference. I spoke with John the manager and he was nice enough but no help. It's insane to me that a company like this even exists. How can they put their customers in the position of losing so much by mistakes made by their employees and have zero accountability? Save yourself a ton of time, money and headache and go elsewhere. read more

USE SOMEONE ELSE! We decided to use them (we were the buyers) because the seller was offering a credit if we did. In the end..it was NOT worth it. Bad communication, seemed as if every corner they were trying to force hidden charges to the buyer. BAD experience, lack of communication within their team and the seller...felt like they were only trying to make a buck at our expense (elderly on fixed income) Even the inspectors, repair cos. involved were frustrated with them. Our realtor had suggested that we use iMortgage, he works with them often and as a local company it would make our transaction here in Mountain House much easier and run smoothly. We were initially introduced to Amy, who took the time to answer all of my preliminary questions and get the ball rolling on our pre-approval. When we found our home and our offer was accepted, Cindy Diaz took over and was with me at every step of the way. Her communication was spectacular, and she took the time to ensure that any questions that I had were answered and any concerns addressed. There were some days where I would literally e-mail her about 6-8 times, and she was responsive to every single one. She even took the time to call me to update me when she had to leave the office to take care of a personal matter. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I dealt with Amy and she made my life a living hell. She took forever to return my emails (days and sometimes weeks), never returned my calls, she was unclear about what I needed, and she lost my information several times. I know others in my area who have had the same experience. There are many excellent loan officers in the area. I had the money and the credit...so it's their loss. I walked away from this place and found someone who was able to close my loan immediately. read more

This review has been long overdue! First off, I want to thank Celia and her whole team for helping our family with the refinance. We were stuck with a really bad loan last year when we met Celia. I remember speaking to her over the phone and she promised that she would do everything to help us get a better loan. You can really tell when you speak with her that she genuinely wants to help you and that she loves what she does because she loves helping people. She stayed true to her word. They worked with us for over a year. The whole process was smooth. Her team was on point (the lag time was more from my end most of the time) and turn around was fast. They were able to help out get out of that horrible loan. My parents, who are now retired, don't have to worry about losing their house. Thank you Celia and team! read more

Great coming out of the gate.....not much for stamina. iMortgage picked up the ball and finished our transaction in record time when a competitor of theirs stumbled, fell and couldn't recover. We are grateful for their finesse in this instance. Since we've had this loan though - what a mess!! We have payments deducted from our account without authorization; payments increased without notice (and in error - their error). We continue to have issues with their processes. At this point we will refinance to avoid further disruption to our finances - but what a pain this has been!! Unacceptable in this day and age. read more

Keep it moving. Find another mortgage firm. I had a very bad experience with these people. Customer service sucks. I dealt with Celia. Slow to respond, lot of excuses. OMG, just one excuse after another for her lack of response. She is not thorough at all. She is very dry and lacks basic customer service skills. She jacked up the numbers on the initial estimate from the start. I should have known then not to deal with these people. These people also cost me $400 dealing with a non-credible appraisal company. (Apple Appraisal), check them out on Yelp, 100% true. I'm glad to have spent the $400 bucks then to be stuck in a long term mortgage with these folks. There are much better companies out there. Don't be sorry like I am. Updated 8/12/15 Adding an additional star because once this was escalated to the corporate office they resolved the situation to my satisfaction immediately The company was very apologetic and stressed how important it is for their company to provide superior customer service. As a first time home buyer I really appreciated how responsive Celia was to all our requests. She explained the process in a way we could all understand, and highlighted various pros and cons of a bunch of financing options she prepared. I always found Celia to be responsive and I got the sense she really cared about what was best for our family. Although iMortgage rates were competitive, we went with another provider who were able to remove PMI insurance because of where I work. read more

I will never go back to them again. We bought one house through them and, although financing always seems to be somewhat painful, everything worked out. A month later we decided to also buy a condo. Since they already had all of our information, it seemed like a no brainer. After weeks of attempting to contact them, unanswered questions, un-returned phone calls, and an all out unpleasant experience (yes I have it all documented), we came down to the last few days before the deal closed. I repeatedly asked if financing a condo would be a problem. I was overwhelming assured that they had it handled. When the final day arrived, we were told that we could not be financed because it was a condo and not a house. We lost almost $10k in penalties, additional taxes, and lost deposits. These people really have no idea what they are doing. Sorry Debbie, but the truth hurts. read more

These people eventually closed the deal, for about $200 a month more than their final written estimate, after more than 2 months of incompetence. They asked for documents 2-4 times, including some they were informed, in writing, did not exist. I recommend Mike Bott at Summit Funding. Worst mortgage company in Las Vegas. Not sure how they run in other cities but I was supposed to close over a month ago and even though imortgage gave approval before I put all of my savings into the house, when it came down to closing escrow, nobody returned my calls or emails and the only people I could get a hold of told me that I wasn't approved for my loan. Now I not only lost my new house but my savings as well. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Use your own bank instead. read more
