I was very pleased with Load up. First their simple quick quote helped me get the task done sooner without needed to do a lot of upfront research. The next thing was how quickly I was able to engage their services. I contacted them Saturday evening and was able to schedule pickup service for noon the following day. They gave me a window which is pretty standard, but what wasn't standard was for the person assigned to my pickup to call me directly and inquire "what time precisely did I prefer?" That was an unexpected bonus. I didn't realize that I should've listed the box spring as well and I hadn't time to disassemble the frame. Large sectional sofa bed gone , and my back isn't broken. Sure I could have done it myself but this was so much more efficient I was able to have them come in 2 days which is probably how long it would have taken me to do it. I had a hard time with the website but that's not surprising as I'm technically challenged, but once set it was smooth sailing , I would have liked a little better communication as to the order . It was a 4 hour window chosen 8am to 12 and the guys showed up 20 mins after 12 but they were so nice and really attentive to not damage anything or scratch the walls or doors . The local people who were hired to load and take the stuff away were very professional. The company, LoadUp, sucks big time. LoadUp provided very limited information to the local loaders. I clearly stated there was about 40 or more items but, somehow, LoadUp translated that to be 20 to 25 items. Therefore, when the local guys showed up, they weren't going to take the stuff, I had already paid over $350 for them to take. So, in order for them to take, most of the stuff, I had to pay them an additional $100 dollars. I'm extremely unhappy with LoadUp and I will never use them again. I will also be sharing this review on all social media platforms. You can't do stuff like that and get away with it. You're screwing the local loaders, and that's not fair at all. read more

I really can't recommend it. Things ended up OK, because I jumped through hoops to arrange alternatives. But when they missed the window they committed to (8-12 Monday), they said I'd be on the hook for 50% of the prepaid fee because I had to have someone get the items out on a deadline. We bought a new couch. Our old 20 year old couch needed to go, but we had no way to haul it away. We contacted LoadUp to come get it. We said if it could be donated, we would like it to be. I called on a Sunday around 9am and they came the same day around 2:30p. There was good communication and the two people who came were very pleasant and professional. They were in and out - easy! We are getting a new bed later this year and I've got some things in my basement that need to be hauled away. Quoted costs were discussed and very reasonable as compared to other similar companies. An immediate email was received with an inventory of prospective items to be picked up, along with the cost pricing, were included. Noticed that while I was looking for a reputable junk disposal service, this company advertised that their costs were relatively lower in comparison to most similar places. Their online reviews were many and very positive. Other places had these issues. 1. Items had to be placed on the street. 2. Anticipated removal was 3-4 days later. 3. Extra costs if living on an upper floor. They came today, Tuesday 2/25/25, the very next day. Disposal movement was completed super fast. Am very pleased with this company.
