The two loaders were very cordial and worked hard. Immediate concern that the "van" was going to be too small for the job. And it was too small. So we are left with having to deal with more stuff the next day. They brought most of it up to the garage. They never complained...I want that to be clear. The lady on the phone to set up this should be providing truck sizes to the client. To generic on the description. Trucks/workers should have support with boxes and black bags. We were told no worries on loose items. We had a lot of loose stuff that simple made their job a nightmare and us to assist with the only to empty boxes. No tools, except hammer to break down bulky items. All would have been perfect if the right size truck came and they had boxes. No cleanup. read more

I needed my old couch hauled away next business day as I plan to buy new furniture. I found LoadUp online and was quoted 104 dollars. Quote was immediate and if I had my couch as door pickup (left outside), I could save 5 dollars! I chose that option since I live on the first floor so my total was only 99 dollars. A driver was assigned and arrived sooner than expected which was great. The driver texted me prior to arriving so I was able to give him instructions on how to find my building. The next thing was how quickly I was able to engage their services. I contacted them Saturday evening and was able to schedule pickup service for noon the following day. They gave me a window which is pretty standard, but what wasn't standard was for the person assigned to my pickup to call me directly and inquire "what time precisely did I prefer?" That was an unexpected bonus. I didn't realize that I should've listed the box spring as well and I hadn't time to disassemble the frame. THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES...STAY AWAY. I specifically asked if they could remove a basketball goal installed in concrete and they said they could. The guys who showed up didn't know what they were doing, started busting up the concrete, and before finishing they walked off the job (leaving a mess in my front yard). The local people who were hired to load and take the stuff away were very professional. The company, LoadUp, sucks big time. LoadUp provided very limited information to the local loaders. I clearly stated there was about 40 or more items but, somehow, LoadUp translated that to be 20 to 25 items. Therefore, when the local guys showed up, they weren't going to take the stuff, I had already paid over $350 for them to take. So, in order for them to take, most of the stuff, I had to pay them an additional $100 dollars. I'm extremely unhappy with LoadUp and I will never use them again. I will also be sharing this review on all social media platforms. You can't do stuff like that and get away with it. You're screwing the local loaders, and that's not fair at all. read more

Large sectional sofa bed gone , and my back isn't broken. Sure I could have done it myself but this was so much more efficient I was able to have them come in 2 days which is probably how long it would have taken me to do it. I had a hard time with the website but that's not surprising as I'm technically challenged, but once set it was smooth sailing , I would have liked a little better communication as to the order . It was a 4 hour window chosen 8am to 12 and the guys showed up 20 mins after 12 but they were so nice and really attentive to not damage anything or scratch the walls or doors . We bought a new couch. Our old 20 year old couch needed to go, but we had no way to haul it away. We contacted LoadUp to come get it. We said if it could be donated, we would like it to be. I called on a Sunday around 9am and they came the same day around 2:30p. There was good communication and the two people who came were very pleasant and professional. They were in and out - easy!
