Lo Sbarco is a genuine Piemontese osteria in the heart of San Salvario, and it's easy to see why it's so popular: a rustic, convivial atmosphere; tasty, simple food; friendly staff. You'll feel instantly at home. This place is popular with locals, who come here to meet up with friends, have a bite, and then move someplace else.
The menu comes as a chalkboard brought right to your table. Portions are generous, flavors are traditional and satisfying, and the value for money is excellent, especially with their house wine. Special mention for the crostone with salsiccia di Bra[1]; if it's on the menu, get it! It's a fantastic appetizer.
One tip: this place fills up fast, so book ahead if you can, or arrive before 8pm to snag a table without a wait. I recommend a table inside, particularly if smoke bothers you[2].
Highly recommend for anyone looking for real, unpretentious Piemontese cooking.
