recommendations: - pull up and put your hazards on, hard to find parking - remember to ask for plate/utensils/fish sauce, there are benches outside so you can eat on the spot - to-go orders and cash only sweet little grandma running this lil banh cuon joint. walk up to the window and put in your order. no frills, bang for your buck. for $7/lb, it could easily feed two ppl, v soft and fluffy. not as good as tay ho but would come back to support the locals

Can't believe I found this place. Another hidden gem. If you love bánh cuốn (rice rolls and veggies) this place is operated by the owner just like in Vietnam. They speaks Cantonese and Vietnamese which is also a plus. Hard to find. But pay attention to the sign. Kinda sketchy area but just get your food and go. It's just a window.

Before you read further, there is something to consider. They have no parking. NO PARKING. Consider lucky if you find a spot on curbside. You can try to park at McDonald's and walk over. Ok, now with the review: They have the best banh khong and mi quang nghe. Most people get stuff here here. Warning: you have to order mi quang nghe one day ahead. I wish they have a website to tell people that. Or, now Yelpers know by looking at this review. There is absolutely no customer service. The place is one lady gang. She looked a bit disgruntled. Maybe she was having a bad day. You need to know what to want before ordering, or she will give you a look. Yes, THAT kinda look. The place has a little smell. No, not food smell. Who knows. I just wanted to come in and out. They have their own washer to wash the towels they use, I suppose. I just don't feel comfortable coming here every time. I'm knocking off 1 star just for that. I just don't understand why there isn't any competition. Maybe the profit margin is slim?

So I really didn't want to write this review, but there are too many reasons to. I tried this place out months ago and had bad service and the banh cuon tasted old and hard. I didn't write a review then and decided just to not order here again. My go to banh cuon tray is the one located on Senter road with the same name. But I keep forgetting which one I prefer! Other day I accidentally ordered here again. I ordered: 3 lb shrimp rolls ($5/lb) 3 lb pork rolls ($6/lb) Cash only I expected a tray for a 6 lb order.. The 2 sets were packaged separately. Pork in a hard container and the shrimp was saran wrapped (see pic)? Which was already a red flag for me. She handed to me without fish sauce which usually comes with it. She says they're $1.50 each. She shrimp tasted fine at home, but the pork rolls were all sour! Yup, they gave me the runs after..

This place is a well-known secret among my family and extended family. I've been eating the rice noodles from this place since I was little. My mom says she's been purchasing from this place for over 10 years already. My mom will only buy bánh t and bánh cun from this place. The boss lady makes the rice noodles in house and my mom has said that there are times where she sells out. The outside looks very shabby, no lie, and the neighborhood it's located is pretty shady but the noodles are so good you would definitely forget about all that. We usually buy 3-4 lbs for a family of 5 which is about $10-$12. We usually have leftovers which we save for the next day. My mom usually gets bánh t and we buy ch la and veggies from a super market to accompany the báhn t. Overall, the place is a hidden gem and definitely worth the drive down to get some. Though a warning, it might be difficult to order if you don't have a translator.

5 stars just doesn't seem enough. I am SO EXCITED to write this review. I would give this place 10 stars if I could for the absolutely delicious, mouth-watering, I'm-salivating-as-I-type banh cuon!! For those who aren't familiar, banh cuon are steamed rice rolls. My family and I have been ordering from this place for over 10 years. Like other Yelpers have mentioned, don't come here expecting a dine-in experience. It's take-out style with a very minimalistic menu. You order by the pound. There are options for plain, shrimp, pork and onion. It always tastes fresh and continues to be better than any restaurant I've tried. You can also order the extra fixings such as cha lua (Vietnamese pork), nuoc mam (fish sauce) and veggies like bean sprouts and cucumber. My family of 6 will usually order 4-5 pounds and will STILL have leftovers for the next day! No exaggerations here; I could eat this stuff everyday. It would be my DREAAAAAM. Banh cuon is one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes and this remains the best I've had.

I highly recommend order online in advance as the wait can be about 30-40 minutes. Upon arriving, the inside was packed with people waiting for their orders. I ordered the 6 eggrolls and asked for 3 regular eggrolls and 3 netted eggrolls so that I could try both. The eggrolls come with veggies (lettuce, mint, and cilantro). It also came with pickled veggies and fish sauce. I also ordered 4 of their nem nuong as not every Vietnamese spot offers this type of spring roll. These have grilled pork in them rather than pork and shrimp. It comes with its own sauce which I'm not sure what its made of. The nem nuong were delicious with the grilled pork and there is a crispy component inside, too. They taste fresh and the sauce is tangy. I like the addition of the small chili sauce they give you on the side. The real show stoppers have to be the eggrolls though. They are perfectly crispy and filled with delicious pork filling. The veggies they provide are really fresh and the pickled veggies helps to add more depth. The eggrolls themselves don't feel too heavy or oily either which I really appreciated. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly when I was picking up. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot and can imagine how their party trays must be a big hit!

The pork and shrimp net egg rolls were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, and the bánh khọt egg rolls were just as amazing. Yes, the fish sauce smell lingers on your hands, but it's completely worth it because the flavors are incredible. There's plenty of parking since it's located in a strip mall, which made it easy and convenient to visit. If you love crispy-style egg rolls, I highly recommend this spot. I was a bit skeptical of getting a hot noodle soup on a hot day, but I figured it'd be great to find a solid bun rieu spot closer to me than my current defaults all the way in Milpitas. The #1 came out first and rather quickly, the #10 took a bit longer but wasn't a long wait by any means. The first thing I noticed was that the plate of add-ins was rather unique, I've never received perilla leaves or banana flowers with my bun rieu before. The broth had great flavor and this soup did come with pork blood cubes. I would definitely come back for the bun rieu. Hot soup noodle soup on a hot day wasn't actually so bad. I tried some of the Special Rice Rolls and felt unsure, maybe it's an acquired taste but I wasn't an immediate fan.
