Magic! My wife surprised my dad and me for a special…read moreFather's day meal. We picked up my dad and his wife for or a drive north of Phoenix. We arrived at Arcosanti in the middle of no where. It is a live-in artisian community for those wanting to perfect a certain type of bell making technic. The setting is mystical as it reminded me of a Hollywood movie set. It was beautiful in a unique way. I was glad to be attending a Cloth and Flame dinner here tonight. Cloth and Flame (C and F) had enhanced the surroundings with a bar, spa-like soothing music and mood lighting. Hors d'oeuvres were served while people mingled and engaged in pleasant conversations. An introduction was made of C and F, Arcosant staff and residents. They explained the mission of Arcosanti and shared the founder's vision. The bell was sounded and we all took our assigned seats for an incredible evening and fabulous food. Around 75 people sat at assigned seats for a delicious family style meal. Being seated in this manner forced you to meet and have conversations with couples on your right and left. It was a community feeling for a dinner that I don't get at a normal restaurant. People were open, engaging, friendly and warm. It was like dining at a friend's house with additional guests you have never met. The ambience was only outdone by the quality and flavor of the food. I have included a copy of the menu. We started with a mushroom, roasted garlic and allum crema. I am a huge fan of mushrooms and was not disappointed but had to remember, this was meant to be shared with others at the table. The next dish was a salad with cauliflower, raisins, berry mixture and mint. It was a completely different taste profile and a welcomed surprise to my taste buds. The orange flavored salmon filets and beef tenderloin with chimichurri sauces was perfectly cooked and moist. This is not easy to accomplish as they had to be served to all guests at once and were spot on. Great job by the chefs! Our dessert was a corn marscapone with strawberries. If you are looking to have a special evening with incredibly prepared food in a mystical setting, call Cloth and Flame. It will be a memorable evening and an enriching experience for those attending. Hats off to an event that was impeccably plannef and over the top.

We were greated with options for cocktails and appetizers. The food was excellent as was the service. Everyone associated was smiling and welcoming and added to the glow of the evening. Our table was filled with laughter and joy even before the whiskey!

Sandy worked with us starting late in 2023 to plan our daughter's spring 2025 wedding. For context…read morethe wedding was a black tie dinner for 175 at the Royal Palms. We are, to put it mildly, on the picky side and we could not have been more thrilled with Sandy. She was kind, hardworking, responsive and organized and the wedding turned out perfectly. We are still getting compliments on what a wonderful evening it was. Throughout the entire process we felt Sandy's priority was making sure the wedding was what our daughter wanted which was an amazing party for our guests. Every vendor Sandy suggested was kind, reasonably priced and delivered a fantastic product. There was no pressure to focus on design and images for social media, which we sensed from several of the other planners we interviewed before selecting Sandy. As for Sandy's political views referenced in the review below, although I am politically liberal and we obviously have different perspectives I did not find her racist or unhinged.

She has such incredible talent that goes beyond her passion for her craft. She is incredibly professional, accommodating, and hiring Sandy was the greatest gift we gave ourselves during the entire wedding journey. She brought calm, clarity, and genuine joy to the process. She made every decision feel impactful and special on their own, had grace when discussing more sensitive or emotional topics, and ensured that the core of what our wedding meant to my husband and I was upheld and cherished. Sandy is a veteran in her field who comes with years of experience, connections, and generosity that ensure no matter what your wedding will entail, it will be handled with care and respect. She understood our vision better than we did and transformed it into something even more beautiful. Our day was seamless, magical, and completely stress‑free because of her and her team's dedication and talent. If you want your wedding done right, Sandy and In Awe Weddings is who you should turn to. We are endlessly grateful.

5 stars if Gerardo is your day of coordinator!!!…read more First things first - this venue is so beautiful and perfect. There are 2 sides & we chose the side with the red brick reception area and it truly was perfect. When we initially toured the venue we worked with Katie and then all of our subsequent planning meetings were with her up until our very last meeting 10 days prior to the venue. She is very knowledgable, but can be impatient and a bit snappy at times, especially if you ask questions or don't quite understand what she means the first time she says it. My husband and I felt this was somewhat off-putting, but rolled with it anyways because what are you gonna do? Our final meeting 10 days before the wedding we worked with the 1st person outside of Katie, and it was Gerardo. Gerardo is INCREDIBLE. He was patient, kind, and really went the extra mile to ensure we not only understood all of the moving parts but also felt comfortable and excited about the most special day of our lives. We asked him if he could be our day of coordinator and he arranged it so we actually worked with him at both our rehearsal and our wedding day. He is the reason this review is 5 stars. On the day of our wedding we had an issue with the arch we had rented and when he came to tell me about it he already had a solution so all I had to do was OK the course correction instead of problem solve a stressful situation on my wedding day. Our banquet captain was also incredible (I can't remember her name but we connected over Fourth Wing the book - she'll know who she is!) and really took care of us after Gerardo left. We also utilized the DJ and bartender provided by the venue. Our DJ was great, but our bartender was super drunk and taking shots in front of my guests when he should have been serving them. Probably something the venue could look into to prevent the next couple/guests from having to deal with that. All in all, the day was more beautiful and fun than I could have ever imagined, and I am really thankful we were able to work with Gerardo and our amazing banquet captain because they really went above and beyond!

The DJ was epic, the food was delicious, and everything felt really well organized. The staff was helpful, professional, and clearly great at what they do, which made the whole evening run so smoothly. The views and courtyards are honestly stunning, and the layout with the bars and food stations made everything easy and enjoyable for guests. Such a fantastic place to celebrate a wedding.
