When I first walked in I didn't know if the 2 kids eating were customers or workers, they were indeed the employees, they offered nice service. The axes were falling apart as they were being thrown and the employees had to bang the axe head into the wood handle after each throw. As a business, they also have free spotify on playing through while you're trying to have a good time. Should'nt you invest 10 bucks a month so I dont have to listen about walgreens flu shots and Huntingdon's free online banking? Overall this place is poorly run, albeit the employees were very friendly and made bad jokes about how they wish their manager should invest a bit more to make it SOAT better.

I was just recently in a wedding at this venue, and I have mixed reviews about this place. It…read morewasn't terrible, but the owners and staff were exceptionally rude to the wedding party and to the families of the bride and groom at both the rehearsal and the actual event. The bridal party was not permitted to bring food into the bridal suite before the wedding, which is ridiculous because we were there for hours preparing for the big day. Supposedly the rule is because they could be held liable for any food poisoning resulting from the outside food, which is totally untrue and clearly just the preference of the owner. Guess what, we snuck in food anyway and nobody died. Parking was very limited, cars ended up having to park all the way down the long hilly road leading up to the venue and people had to walk quite a way on a steep, unlit road. The food was ok, certainly not worth what was charged for it. Anyone can go to Sam's Club and buy pulled pork and green beans, and it doesn't cost close to 20 bucks a head either. Ridiculous mark up. If you're going to charge full catering prices, offer full catering options that are worth what you're charging. The fireplace was the best part, very pretty, but naturally there was an up charge to light it. Give me a break. With concrete floors and thin walls, a freezing winter day pretty much requires the fireplace because the heat wasn't working. The tables and place settings were pretty standard, nothing special but nothing to complain about. The building itself is very plain, it looked nice with the Christmas lights and other decorations but it's definitely nothing special

It's an older lodge which was previously the Mead Foreman's Club. It offers so much room and the option for both indoor and outdoor events. Catering prices are between 17 and 20 per person, and well worth it. I've been to several weddings there and I can't say enough about how great everything was.
