My insurance company called B&B and before I knew it (or could eat the sandwich I had picked up in Cambridge, Jeff was calling to tell me he'd be there shortly. Ten minutes later he arrived and put my truck on his flatbed. After dropping the truck at Walmart, he waited and let me go inside and talk to a manager, then he kindly gave me a ride to a local hotel. I contacted my AAA agent to see what they could do and after calling every local towing service they contract with and being unable to find anyone to accept my job, the AAA agent reached out to H & K Towing. A company based in the next County that was already busy with local runs due to their outstanding reputation. I was put on hold each time the agent made calls and all the other towing companies refused to take my job. For various reasons. It was around a 180 mile drive round trip. After 7 pm. H & K accepted. Not only did H & K save us and agree to drive all of us home, the driver/owner, Jim, arrived sooner than expected and it was a joy for us to ride and talk with him for an hour and a half. This is a decades old family owned company and, instead of bothering any other employee with this late, long Sunday call, Jim took the run! The truck was clean and well kept. We felt safe and secure.The service provided was fast and professional, yet with a personal "next door neighbor come to help" kind of feeling that made you thankful H & K Towing was the company to save our day. Would I recommend H & K Towing based out of Concord, Ohio? Absolutely!

He made excuse after excuse to try and keep from doing the job. Once we got the spare tire from under my pick up he put it on the front of my pick up, dropped the jack and the spare had very little air so was basically flat itself. No offer to assist with getting it aired down the road at the gas station, tow it to somewhere it can be fixed or anything. He dropped the jack, climbed in his truck and drove off knowing he changed a flat with a flat and was gone without a word. When I called the company I was told by the owner... not his problem, he's not paid to do anything else and at the end of the conversation I was told by the owner when I told him I would rate his business negatively, he laughed... said "go ahead" and to "fuck myself". THE OWNER! If you use this company, expect to deal with PISS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! This wasn't the first time this company had issues. A few weeks before I had a car picked up at my residence to be towed to have repairs done. A different driver pulled in, backed up to a completely different vehicle and started to load it even though they were sent the year, make, model AND COLOR. You'd think being in a business working with vehicles, they'd know the difference between a Camry and Corolla. If not, the color difference should give it away. Just unreal!

The alternator died and he ended up on the side of I-70 just outside of Zaneville. And of course, it was a Saturday just after all the shops with good reviews closed at 12pm. And I'm sure you've all heard horror stories from friends/family of being in an unfamiliar area and far away from your trusty mechanic . Thankfully for us, Twin Peaks towing was the company dispatched by the insurance's roadside and they were WONDERFUL. We had them tow it to NTB only to discover they didn't have a mechanic on duty all weekend. TPT said they could get it repaired today so we decided to risk it. They towed it to the shop and it was the BEST experience we could ask for. Dakota was there (on his day off!) in 20 minutes and had a new alternator installed in less than 30 minutes. Then we were pleasantly surprised with how REASONABLE their pricing was. We were backed into a corner and they could have charged us anything they wanted, but they were completely fair and honest. Turns out Dakota just opened the shop in January and is making a go of it on his own. But according to his dad (tow truck owner), he's been tinkering with cars since he was 7 He was very knowable and we felt happy knowing we had received excellent service, and were able to help a young man in his new venture.

Jeremy refused to tow my vehicle back home (blamed his boss) and left me stranded in the dark and alone with my inoperable vehicle. Before Jeremy left he told me to "please lock your doors, this is not a safe area". I then had to call AAA to use my last tow for the year just to get home and my vehicle still is not being repaired at a shop. I had to file a dispute with AAA to hopefully get my tow back.
