Great service, honest prices, and good quality work. The service I requested was done in a timely matter.

From the very first phone call, this company showed what real professionalism looks like. The woman who answered was polite, patient, and genuinely helpful. I had an issue when my card was canceled due to fraud the night before my appointment, and she handled it with total understanding--helping me work through the payment process without stress or frustration. That kind of customer care sets the tone for a great experience. They even managed to schedule my service a day earlier than planned after confirming I'd be available. When Chad, the technician, arrived, his professionalism and honesty stood out immediately. He noticed that I had tried to fix the garage door arm myself, and what I really appreciated was that he passed no judgment--he just got right to work, corrected the issue, and made sure everything was functioning perfectly. Chad also reinforced a panel inside the garage door instead of suggesting a full replacement, which many companies might have tried to sell me on. That level of fairness and integrity is rare these days. The cost of the repair was very reasonable too--especially considering how expensive everything has gotten lately. It felt like a fair deal for both sides: I got honest, quality service, and the company still made a fair profit. Chad is exactly the kind of technician every company hopes to have--efficient, fast, clean, and extremely professional. He's the face of what makes this business great. I truly hope the company recognizes how valuable he is when it comes time for performance reviews or raises, because employees like him are the reason customers keep coming back. In today's economy, it's refreshing to find a company that's honest, fairly priced, and staffed with people who clearly care about doing things the right way. They've earned my full trust and future business. read more

Our garage door opener was over 20 years old so it was time to get a new one, splurged on the Liftmaster , the install was perfect, installer JC came on time and was very knowledgeable and helpful with my questions on the unit and options with a new door in the future. The ladies in the showroom were very helpful and the communication throughout the process was the best part of my experience. Well worth the money spent. read more

Our springs needed adjustment because the door would not open or close properly and the opener was straining with opening and closing. They came 2 days after our call for service. They came on time, had no up sale and the door works like new. The price was very reasonable. We also wanted a new bottom seal. They were out of stock and came the next week to install it. I contacted Lloyd Copelan GD service a few months ago, due to a broken spring. They were truly outstanding, deserving of 10 stars! From the polite and friendly person who answers the phone to their true desire to provide the very best in customer service, you'll be very pleased with this company and their exemplary customer service. They are clearly aware of the lack of security one experiences when their garage door system(s) fail, so the folks at LCGD do their literal best to schedule your work immediately, to re-secure your home or business without lengthy delays. They either carry or have access to necessary parts right away, making the process very quick and efficient! The installer is friendly, professional, and very skilled at his work. Thank you Chad! Thank you to everyone at LCGD! You're truly the BEST, and so appreciated! In fact, I'll be calling them again, first thing this morning, as my other door has decided to break.....of course! UGH! You cannot go wrong when working with this excellent company & their friendly and knowledgeable staff! Thanks so much LCGD! . read more

We called them after realizing the spring on garage door got snapped. Lucky for us, they had their company info right next to the broken spring. They scheduled the appointment to the very next morning. After arriving promptly, Chad replaced both of the springs in no time. It's no easy job yet in and out, it overall took about half an hour so. Very pleased with the service! I think that's when you know a great business, - even if the homeowner changes over time, the service provider remains the same!! read more

March 2023. The garage door opener quit in a drawn out death. Copelan responded quickly and suggested some repairs that could be made more cheaply than a replacement, butI decided on a replacement. He told me he would have to order an opener and it might take three or four days. He was able get one sooner and promptly scheduled an appointment. His installers arrived on time, were well prepared to make the install and did so quickly and quietly. The opener is a new model and was a bit different from the old one, so I was told about the new features. They also lubricated the rails, and programmed the 2 old remotes with the new without my having to ask them. All-in-all very happy with their work and the new opener. I can see why they have stayed in business for as long as they have. read more

These folks were great, came out and quickly repaired my garage door , no funny business like these scammers jumping calls, be careful!!!!!!

My husband made an appointment with Lloyd's C. Garage Doors. Their work man said immediately that there was a problem. He had brought a 7 ft rail and we needed a 8ft rail. It would be $40 more. I needed know the price was already $525 because my husband had made the appointment. I talked to my husband and both of us decided that paying the new amount was too much. $565. I felt they should have come prepared with a 7 ft and a 8ft rail. They know the community we live in, so I felt they should have been prepared. They would not budge on the new price so the canceled our service. Very poor business practice. There starting price is too high to begin with. We found someone else who is doing the job for $150 less read more

We will not be using Lloyd Copeland garage doors again. We discussed what we needed, he quoted us $79 per door for service. The tech didn't service all three doors. We were charged $600+. When we argued with him, he tried to show us his "invoice", a post-it with only his math on it. Also the tech didn't clean up very well. read more

Great customer service, I was very happy with the service and couldn't be more pleased with our new garage door.

I was very impressed with the service I was as given with this company. I had an issue with my cheaply made garage door opener I bought online, and called Lloyd Copeland for a service call. they sent Chad out to my house to look at the power head. He figured out the control board was bad. I asked if there was a better manufacturer out there that was too expensive, so we chatted about some of the different options out there. He didn't push me to buy a specific expensive model like another company I used previously did, and said they could come back and install whatever I decided to buy. They did not charge me the service fee for the callout, which I really appreciated, so I decided to call them back to take care of the new install. I bought a lift master opener from Home Depot that day, and they sent Chad back out 2 days later to install it. His install was fast, very clean, and I am very impressed with the service and clean setup he provided. I would definitely recommend them, and will definitely call again them again for any future needs. read more

After diagnosing a one in a million problem in my old opener, they helped me choose the correct opener for my door, and found out my springs were in need of replacement too after one broke. Really have me a good deal on replacement as I was not prepared for this expense. Got it up quick and every thing is great. read more

Had Chad from Copeland doors come out an fix my commercial semi trailer door. The torsion spring had busted and I went to Ontario to Whiting door where I purchased a complete new torsion spring assembly. First attempt failed as the cone spool on the end where the cable winds broke out a small piece rendering it useless and had to take the whole assembly back out. I had to drive the 2 hours round trip back to Whiting where I was able to replace it free. Unfortunately, because of the backlog of jobs and being short handed, I had to wait another week before I could get the guys back out here. Fortunately we could endure and this time Chad fixed it in record time. I was a bit miffed at having to make that drive again, but that's the way things go sometimes. All in all the job got done and they charged me half of what some other quotes I got. A special thanks to Copeland, Nichole for being honest and Chad for his expertise. They certainly deserve an atta boy. Life to short to do otherwise. I definitely recommend them. read more

I called LLoyd Copelan Garage doors for a repair of our door. They had done the installation years ago. I knew the right and left T springs were broken. Ed came out to do the service and worked with my wife. The job cost $400.00. That's right, $400.00! Ed was there less than an hour. He charged $80.00 labor, not bad. The parts (2 springs and 2 cables) cost a combined $320. After doing an online check, these parts, conservatively should cost around $90.00. ($35 for each spring and $10 for each cable). And again this is conservative! You can get them cheaper that this. This is a 356% mark-up on parts. That is pure thievery! I spoke to Nicole. The only thing she could say is that I am not looking at apples vs apples. I am sorry, but parts are parts... read more

Well first time they came out a few weeks ago my garage door right cable drum came off the reel, so we called the local guy "Lloyd Copeland" to take a look as we like to support local business. Now the problem was fixed fairly quickly, under 20 minutes. The tech that came out decided on his own, without my wives approval to do a "routine service" to our garage door for $80. When she got the bill for over $125, she gladly paid since she just wanted the garage door fixed. But when I came home later and looked at the bill I asked if she knew it was "serviced" which I do on a regular basis- it consists of spraying all the joints and springs with grease. A few days later we had a few issues with the garage door opening and closing, but it was hot out and maybe the metal expanded a little bit because the issue stopped the next morning. Then two weeks later it wouldn't go up at all. We called and the owner Lloyd came out and noticed the sensors got knocked and was quite rude to my wife about our "stuff" around the garage that could have knocked the sensor down. I'm ok with the sensor issue, but I am not OK with the owner of the business being rude and acting like we wasted his time calling in a service call. And then he charges $49 for two minutes time. $49 dollars in five minutes when he drove ten minutes from his shop is a good wage. Further I am not OK with them doing a "routine service" to the door, but not asking. I will NOT be using them again. Not friendly, nor respecting the customer, which typically is always right even when they are wrong. read more
