Simple and welcoming atmosphere. The service & chef was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. The Lomo Saltado Clásico and fish tacos were flavorful, perfectly cooked, and definitely worth ordering.

ají de gallina

What a dinner! We love their food and it never disappoints! Their Ají de gallina was the best I've ever tried, so creamy and flavorful! We also tried one of their sushi rolls and it was great but we were so full that we couldn't finish it! Their portions are huge! Jose did a great job as a server as well! The restaurant I so charming and it has an authentic Peruvian feel with their Inca kola and little Peruvian touches on the decor.

The Chile Riano is the best I have found in sac so far. Not to mention the mimosas are to die for. The sauce is like no other. The staff are super tentative and kind.

Banana and Nutella crêpe with chocolate and whip whipped cream on top. Also, pancakes with syrup, sunny side up egg, and sausage.

Enjoyed a banana, Nutella, breakfast, crêpe, pancakes, waffles, and fresh fruits. Attentive service, good food, quiet environment, friendly neighborhood establishment. Would recommend.

All I have to say this was an absolute masterpiece of a breakfast. We had chilaquiles with green sauce, Mexican omelette and a strawberry Nutella crepe. The waitresses were so nice and friendly. I think this is our new breakfast spot. Can't wait to try for lunch

The location is great, easy access and plenty of parking. We were warmly greeted. We got our table and soon were greeted by Yessey. She is from Peru and was very detailed in her explanations on all things relevant to our visit. She was great! We pondered the menu before choosing to go with the buffet which is not my typical move as I have my reservations about food safety at buffets but after inspecting it carefully, I chose to roll the dice. It was great roll of the dice. The food was fresh! Both the salad bar and the hot food offerings. It was all tasty! And it was unique to Peru. We sat down to enjoy our meal and after looking around I understood why the place 'felt' good. It was clean and well appointed. Not too many decorations or tables jammed together. There was space which is luxurious in my book. I liked the vibe. The window seals could use a cleaning but if that's all that I could complain about then were doing very good at La Huaca!

It's a place where you can enjoy amazing food and great service every time. Highly recommend!

I am once again imploring anyone who comes across this food truck to GET THE KRUNCH WRAP. Finally,…read moreafter what felt like forever waiting for them to come back around to the Capitol, I got to order the krunch wrap again. This time, I got al pastor. The two options are al pastor or chicken or for $1 extra, asada. If you can't stand those two options, sure go ahead and order with the asada, but if you could go either way, choose the al pastor! It was so tender, flavorful, and juicy. I've only had al pastor this delicious one other time and have been chasing down that flavor for almost two years now and am happy to say I have found it with Ahuevo's al pastor. On top of that, the tostada inside is so unbelievably crispy and light and the toasted cheese on the outside is so genius. Those are probably the two characteristics that I love the most about this menu item. A few things were different with my experience this time, but nothing that would garner a lower rating. First, it was served in a nacho style tray rather than a takeout box. Not the biggest fan because it's difficult to transport, but on a good day, find a bench and you'll be just as comfortable as if you ate it in your office. Second, there were significantly less tortilla chips included. I counted maybe like six... but! They're not really important to the dish, except for when some of the fillings inevitably fall into the tray and you're left with the tortilla chips to scoop them up (you don't wanna waste this stuff). Lastly, there was no side sauce like when I ordered the asada, but again, not necessary! I wasn't a big fan of the sauce to begin with when I tried it, because the flavors are so balanced in the krunch wrap by itself that it's just not needed. Ok, one other thing that was different- the fillings were so generous! Last time I was biting into some thick layers of tortilla, but this time they got the ratio on the money. If you can only get one thing from this truck, get this and you will not regret it whatsoever. And just to emphasize, the quality versus the price of the food is absolutely insane. With surging food prices, I was happy paying $12 and am looking forward to hopefully seeing them in front of the Capitol again.

My family and I went to Track 7 in Natomas on Saturday and Ahuevo Foods was the food truck that…read moreprovided food. We ordered the Cheese Quesadilla and Asada Crunch Wrap. Both items were pretty good - I liked that the Crunch Wrap had a cheese crust on the outside of the tortilla and the Quesadilla had some nice cheese pulls. Both also came with tortilla chips and salsa. Their menu is small and they do not offer rice and beans, but they do offer tacos and nachos as well as a few other items. Food came out quickly and staff were friendly as well! Can't really speak on the ambiance since it was a food truck, but I would check them out again if I saw them around! Check them out!

We experienced great service as they were able to accommodate us for last minute reservation changes, even for a large group. Additionally, I was immediately greeted by the team for my birthday. We were obsessed with each dish. Some that we ordered: Lomo Saltado (chicken) Yum!! 10/10 Ceviche Mixto amazing 10/10 Pollo à la brasa, crowd favorite 10/10 Arroz con verduras paella 8/10, I just prefer protein! Arroz con mariscos paella, 11/10 filled me up and had generous portions of seafood! Yuca frita 10/10 can't go wrong, nice sauce pairing Plátanos fritos 10/10 the tamarind sauce was tangy and yummy. I've never had sauce like that! Overall you really can't miss with anything you order. The churrasco ordered by my neighbor looked bomb too. There's plenty of space for large groups which is why Parada won me over instead of Limon which I frequent. There's a lot of parking available and options of outdoor and indoor seating. Nice ambiance, they have a full bar and TVs for sports.

The menu items didn't particularly catch my eye, and I'd say it seems better for tapas than entrees. A lot of the food tasted overly sweet as well. Overall, everything was decent but not amazing. While customer service was super friendly, I found this the most disappointing aspect of the experience. I had to flag down our server a few times, even with being the only customers inside. We were celebrating my brother's birthday, and our dessert cake was served without any utensils until flagging down another server, who then prompted our table's server to make their way over. RECS: + Empanadas platter ($25) nicely came with one of each flavor for a total of four, and it was very fun to share! I did find it odd for these to be covered in powdered sugar though. Personal favorites were the beef and corn-cheese empanadas! + Fried plantains ($10) were perfectly caramelized and soft + Homemade chips ($6) became a family hit! I believe it's cassava root but not 100% sure
