The library is divided into two main sections, books on one end and computer lab/ activities rooms on the other. Computer side is where my attentions fall, with 54 high speed computers to choose from, there is never a wait or hassle. Across from the computer lab is the "Idea Lab," which is a small high tech room which has low cost 3D printing available and a computer equip with virtual reality. The staff that I've come across are always kind with a willingness to help.

The librarians are all very attentive and helpful, and it is kept very tidy. We ran in to use the fax machine, but were swept up speaking to a friendly librarian who told us about all of the story times they had and all of the wonderful programs they have for the kids. We will definitely return.

Most recently, I came here for a meeting, and we used the back room. This was a great space for a meeting. It was a medium sized room, but there were tons of chairs and even a spot of food to be. I really liked how you had to walk through the library to get to it... it felt like you were apart of the library instead of feeling isolated off to the side. Another I love about this library is the safety and convince. At the doors there are security like pillars and you can even drop off your books at the slot outside. This location is very convenient for me because I live close to the area. I like how it isn't too big, like the main location, but it is easier to locate what exactly you are looking for. Now with the age of the Internet, I have to be honest, it is not often I visit a library. So, again it was nostalgic experience. This library is huge and I love their kids section! Yes, we will be visiting more often. I like the thought of "renting" books because it's nice to not to have to always buy them. My daughter was so excited to see so many books and it was funny to hear her say "can we buy this book"? Throughout the year, they have live performances - dances, plays, storytimes, etc. For adults, there are quiet places to read and mellow out. Will I be visiting the library more now? Of course, I will, now that I'll be living a bit closer to one.

They have makerspaces here at this branch, sewing/embroidery , etching, and so many other things. I love to garden and I saw they even have seed swaps and classes from guest speakers. If you are looking or community the library and EBRPL system as a whole does a really good job at connecting others. It feels "old school" but def a cool space. Also the building is very nice and modern, so its totally a win win.

So much to do! The…read moreweather this particular morning was so rainy but it cleared up later. So I wanted to get the boys outside to play & run off some energy. We attended the River Center Library's children area. It was so nice & very spacious with various stations. We colored a few different pages, played at the kitchen set & assembled a puzzle. There's even a iPad with a game of the day & a larger digital activity table with various learning games for toddlers too. My 3yo spent most of the time playing a game matching shapes. The staff was super friendly & helped us navigate whatever we didn't understand. We're currently potty training & used the bathrooms which were super clean & kid friendly. There's an outdoor terrace that's available on the top floor but was closed due to weather. We look forward to visiting that part this weekend.

The staff is absolutely superb. We've never met one without a smile and a kind word. They also have a clean meeting room available for not-for-profit and community organizations to use for free. Our Girl Scout troop utilize it and it's excellent. The staff is very easy to work with and there is always a wide selection of books in great condition. This is definitely our neighborhood library and we love it.
