I went in for "a few things."…read more By that I mean: shelf liner, hooks (plural and way overanalyzed), a step ladder, a potato peeler, and a very specific type of hanger. The hangers were the main character. Everything else was supporting cast. Some people impulse-buy...shoes. I impulse-buy organization systems. I have been known to remove products from their original packaging so I can place them into more aesthetically appealing storage containers. This is not a cry for help. It is a lifestyle and an intentional choice. Yes, I could have ordered everything online. But convenience wasn't the point. I wanted to see the products. I wanted to be seduced by perfectly arranged displays of...systems. And frankly, I needed to get out of the house. Back to the hangers. A very specific type. A very specific color. Blonde wood. This was not optional. I walked in like a man on a mission only to find the display empty. Again. This has happened before. I felt that quiet retail heartbreak and moved on, primary objective unfulfilled. There is something uniquely disappointing about an empty hanger display when your closet vision depends on tonal consistency. Then an employee asked, "Are you finding everything okay?" I decided to be brave and answered with one word: "No." She paused. That was clearly not the expected script. After a moment, she said she'd grab the manager. Enter John, manager, who found me mid spiral, comparing approximately 47 varieties of hooks. I explained the hanger situation and mentioned that this particular stock issue felt...recurring. He calmly said he'd check the back for new inventory. I returned to my hook deliberations, down to about 12 finalists, when John and the original employee approached me carrying boxes. And boxes of MY hangers. It felt like a retail miracle. I may not have audibly gasped, but internally? Full on happiness. They were gracious, apologetic about past stock gaps, and genuinely helpful. John smiled and said, "All you have to do is ask." Well, duh. Sometimes growth looks like saying "no" in a polite tone at The Container Store. I left with everything I came for, plus more hangers than any reasonable person needs, and appreciative of the customer service. I'll be back. Probably for drawer dividers.

They have EVERYTHING your heart could desire for storage, in all shapes and sizes. Prices are fair. Sales are great. If you buy online and pick up at the store, you get 20% off. I needed shoe boxes, so bought a case. Oddly, they seem a little smaller, or maybe my feet/shoes got bigger? Will compare with much older boxes currently in my closet. They do have boxes for high heels and boots, but I am paring down my collection of very high heels and adding more walking shoes. The shoe boxes were brought out to my car by a cheerful, friendly woman. This was a very easy process. I didn't want to go inside, because I had more errands and really didn't want to find something that I want, but don't need, lol. This place is a huge temptation for me!

The organizing company helped me implement new strategies to keep up with everything and get my family members excited about keeping the house tidy too! I feel so much freer, and I can finally function at full capacity again! I actually hired another organizer a few years ago, and she acted more like a cheerleader - she sat in a chair while i sorted through papers. My experience with the organizing company couldn't be more different! Our organizer (Christina) was very hands-on. She helped install shelving units, cleared out boxes, sorted things for us, labeled where everything went.. it was such a blessing to have her in our house! I watched my space transform from barely livable to a beautiful home that I was proud to invite my friends to. I highly recommend the organizing company. It's like they say - life's better when it's put together!

Not only was he extremely experienced and efficient with the installation of this particular system, he charged us approximately $350 less than it would have cost us to go through one of the retailer's contractors. We are now able to realize much more usable space than before. Next job already scheduled for the hanging of a new barn door for the walk-in closet! With a new bike on the way, I found it was going to be quite a challenge storing it in our relatively small garage. I barely had enough room to squeeze the car in with just one bike, so purchased a ceiling hanging system. After the system arrived, I hired Wade Services to do the job. Upon arrival, he suggested an alternative solution that would allow for easier access to the bike. I went with his idea and was quite pleased with the results. Where there was once clutter and barely enough room for one bike, I now am able now able to fit two bikes (old bike pictured - new one will be placed where the tires are), store my ladders and camping tables, and still effortlessly park my full-sized SUV. He also offered other improvement ideas, which I will have installed at a later date. He also suggested new layout ideas for two of our closets. We also plan to have him install those as well! Great work at a reasonable price! Thanks again, Robert! Jimmy H

This room was the bane of our existence, an energy sucker, a time sucker, and the source of many an argument. And then we got help from Pam from Mindful Decluttering & Organizing and boy do we feel a lot better! Pam was calm, helpful, and non-judgemental about our stuff. She not only helped us clear our clutter (she got down and dirty right along with us), but also gave us simple, easy-to-follow tips for how we can prevent clutter from accumulating again! In addition, she had us agree on deadlines for when to complete certain work and she asked my husband and me to agree on who was going to be responsible for what stuff. She taught us accountability, but in a gentle way. Your stuff can cause a lot of stress, but Pam takes the stress away. I'm sure her work has kept many partnerships together! It really is amazing how living simply, with less stuff, makes us feel so much better!

I carried on the tradition in my own home, including the Hugh cluttered mess. My cupboard had become so full of first aid product, pain and headache medication, box's of flu and cold medication and a slue of medicine dispensers that I would knock things over getting to what I was looking for. It was a mess! Pam provided step by step instructions in the form of a booklet and verbal communication. Her support and encouragement very step of the way took away the dread I had built up in my mind. Once the project was completed I had a since of freedom and pride in the accomplishment. I am ready to take on my next project with Pam. We are going to schedule a virtual session. Should be fun! Thank you, Kim LMT

She met with me in person and offered a detailed plan to achieve the goals I had for my home. Dana helped me to let go of items that I no longer had a use or need for. This was difficult at first but she got me into the right mind set. She utilized existing storage space I did not even think of using and helped source additional storage items and make efficient use of the space. She recommended a custom closet solution that took into account my wardrobe and places for ties, suits, hats and shoes along with spaces for things I want to keep for the future but don't need right now. One of the best parts was that she used her organizers membership to get me a discount from the company that installed everything. My house is now a calm, organized, and decluttered space that I'm thrilled to live in, and thanks to the strategies she had to offer, I believe it's maintainable. She was a great listener, motivator, and had boundless energy. She really took the time to learn about how we actually live and flow through the house and rooms. She shared so many tips on organizing and decorating; I feel really empowered and excited about my home now. I may have to purposefully clutter up some corner of the house to have an excuse to work with her again. ;-)

When at last we find a design/color scheme that works for us, they never set up an install date. I figured we would be getting a phone call/email at some point, but the phone call we received was one saying that they will be there the day of. Strike 2. Very unprofessional. When we finally get everything figured out, the installers made it to the house, and they were just a delight. The got everything set up and cleaned up no problem. I asked them what they thought of their boss, and neither one of them really wanted to talk about it. Hmm... After they left, I inspected the closets, and I was horrified to see all the chips and scratches. There's strike 3. With as much money as I spent on these, you would assume they would try and make them look nice. Overall, the owner is a jackass, and the price you're paying isn't worth what they're putting out. I HIGHLY recommend taking your business elsewhere.
