My Fair Flora

My Fair Flora

(1 review)

My Fair Flora was contracted to provide all floral arrangements for my October 16, 2011 wedding. We…read morehave a contract that states the flowers to be provided for the bride's bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquet, the Jr. bridesmaids bouquet, the grooms boutonniere, the groomsman's boutonnieres, the ring bearers boutonniere, and the Officiates boutonniere were all to be Anemone flowers. None were provided. Instead the florist took it upon herself to not notify myself or my husband (contractees) that she would not be providing the contracted flowers but instead chose to substitute the contracted flowers with white roses; flowers of her choosing that were not approved by the contractees. Not only were the provided flowers not the contracted flowers, but she substituted flowers that in my husband's culture represent and is a symbol of death. She offended the majority of my guests. Furthermore, our contract states that My Fair Flora was to provide 3 lisianthus corsages to the mothers and 4 lisianthus boutonnieres to the fathers and grandfather; none of which were provided and again were substituted with white roses and not approved by the contractees. My Fair Flora was to also provide a flower halo for the flower girl; again not provided. The Ushers were to also have lisianthus boutonnieres which were substituted for white roses. The centerpieces on the dinner tables were to be baby's breath only. She took it upon herself to again make them with white roses as well. Our contract does not state anywhere in it that changes were approved by the contractees or that the Florist had the right to alter the contract without informing the contractees of her decision. My fair Flora is in complete breach of contract and did not provide anything agreed upon in the contract. My Fair Flora has been completely uncooperative and fails to recognize any wrong doing. I STRONGLY suggest using another florist if you actually want what you agree upon in your contract. This was my WORST wedding vendor and I would never recommend them to anyone.
