She was very fast and professional when I was scheduling, so I was excited to find a long-term crew who can visit us regularly after the initial post-move deep cleaning. All went well until the day of the appointment. No one showed up. I called her straight to voicemail. I texted her directly and via Yelp, and as of now, two days post the appointment, and still no response. We are on a tight time schedule, between painting and moving in and this no-show and no-response messed up the whole thing. Not sure what happened to her, but I'm so disappointed with this experience.

It's been a tough year for Altadena, and will be for the foreseeable future. My house survived the…read moreurban fire but was deeply saturated with toxic materials from the neighboring homes that burned around us. We are talking lead, arsenic, lithium, and other chemicals at levels that should never be in your home. Alex and Juan at Millan have been fantastic partners in remediating my home, giving me peace of mind, and doing incredible work. They never pressured me (unlike other remediation companies) and are one of the few companies actually qualified to handle this level of toxicity. Additionally, I used one of the most qualified industrial hygienists to test my home, and she called their work 'fantastic.' I will be forever grateful for their help and recommend them wholeheartedly. I don't write reviews often, but it was important for anyone doing this kind of work to know that you are in great hands with Millan.

While the process is ongoing (due to a newly discovered problem due to undiscovered damage to my garage roof and insurance company issues) and I will update this when we are finished, they did an amazing job on my house, and have acted both as remediator and liason to my insurance company. Their workers were always prompt, polite and on-time, and they worked with me so I could sort through the items being cleaned out of my house. I have heard so many stories from my neighbors and friends and know that I ended up with the best company. I would suggest that anyone who is still dealing with our issues of lead and other toxins in their homes, call, consult and/or hire Milan's. As background: During the Eaton Fire in Altadena, windows in my house both blew open and were broken. My entire house was filled with soot and ash from the fire. I spoke and initially dealt with several home remediation companies and it felt like I was being circled by vultures. Before I connected with I initially decided to go with another company who kept saying I did not need to test for lead, and then threw me under the bus with my insurance company - they had no idea what they were doing and were pressuring me (with my adjuster) to just clean without addressing the lead issues. I was feeling beat up and lost, then Milan's was recommended to me by a friend and everything turned around. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that Milan's Restoration, Alex and Juan, and the rest of their team saved me during the worst experience of my life. Again, the best, and the nicest.
