I'm saddened by the negative reviews on here, but it seems like BMVH has really turned itself…read morearound since then. My boyfriend, pups, and I were in the area for just 8 months, and had to leave BMVH since we moved back to Texas, but if were still living in the area, we would definitely still be using BMVH. The veterinarians, assistants, doggy day care staff, and all other staff could not have been more nice...even on busy days, they took as much care as they could to be thorough, answer our questions, and give us a pleasant smile and hello/goodbye. Our dogs were comforted by the staff during their vet visits and seemed pretty at ease before and after their overnight/weekend stays. I also like that they bathed and trimmed our dogs' nails after each stay. They also offer "pupdates" - texting you pictures of your dogs every day or every other day while they are being boarded. It was really nice to see that our dogs were comfortable and being taken care of while we were away..and fun to get such cute pictures too! The staff and doctors are very professional and take the time to listen to any concerns you have about your pets, whether the appointment is a regular check up, or you have come in for some other reason. A note for anyone boarding their pets here, they are closed on Sundays, so you will have to pick your pets up on Monday - just something to remember; they are great, so I wasn't too bothered by leaving my dogs an extra day, just needed a bit more coordination between my bf and I for the pick up during a work day. Thanks for all the love and care for Lemon and Pepper while we were there - it was much appreciated and we would be back in a second if we weren't in Texas.

This was hands down the worst vet experience of my life. I came in today because my dog was having…read moreintestinal issues. I brought a poop sample to Dr. Stewart and he didn't even use it. Then when I went back to the room he lectured me about my dog's behavior and how I was handling it when the dog was barking from stress. He prescribed some medicine and told me to not feed my dog. My dog continued to be very agitated that afternoon and I had to take him out incredibly frequently. He was acting not like himself and I called the vet again and he said that he didn't consider a dog distressed unless they were actively seizing, bleeding, etc., and told me to take him on a walk. I knew my dog was distressed since he'd never behaved like this in 12 years. I took my dog for a walk and he calmed down but two hours later he was acting distressed again. So I took him for a second walk and he pooped blood. I call the vet immediately and he tells the front desk staff that the office is closing and i should just go to the emergency room. EXTREMELY awful experience. DO NOT go here. Doctor did not take my concerns seriously and my dog may have suffered and still be suffering because of it.

That being said one of my babies was sick. It came from no where so I wasn't prepared financially. As I was in the room crying some man Josh walked in and comforted me talking me about how it hurts to lose his own and he understands my pain... no one else saw this man...I wanted to thank him for his compassion.. everyone kept saying there is no Josh here there is no Joshua here so for the longest time my friends were telling me maybe his name was Jesus and Joshua was the English way of saying Yeshua which I really believed but then someone said one of the owners is Joshua so I was just there on a day when he was there and he was a very kind-hearted person and I could not afford to get my baby cremated I did not want to leave her in a freezer or have her community cremated with a bunch of kitty cats that I just wanted to have her with me I would actually have all of the animals that are cremated I would actually bury them in the most beautiful places so that they don't just get cremated and thrown away I would like to make beautiful flowers where they were once alive but that being said after I left I guess the guy Joshua got to see that I couldn't afford to do all the things I wanted to for my baby and I only had a little bit of money on me and they kept calling me every couple weeks asking and I said I promise as soon as I get a new job I was in between work the covid thing was happening it was horrible and I got a letter in the mail saying that I can come pick up my baby's ashes because they planted a tree in her honor and one of the forest and the forest paid for my baby to get cremated so that I could have her my heart was so happy the whole way there I cried and now I have to go back bring that kitty cat's daughter actually her niece but she fed her because her sister and her had kitten same time so they fed each other's kittens and it was the most cutest beautiful thing to see two sisters swapping babies and now 14 years later my baby is a big girl and I took her to a different vet and they did nothing but take all months rent out of me and give me some saline solution for my cat's eye not even antibiotics so I can only hope the companion will have something better I'm afraid they're going to say that we're going to have to put her down but if that's God's will I cannot watch my baby suffer and anytime I brought a cat there that I was fostering if there were sick from the street I would say can I at least have him for one week before he passes away so that I could show him what it's like to be loved in a house with humans and they would give me medicine to keep him comfortable for that week and I would spoil the cat for a week whoever it was whether it was my boy buddy or my baby girl either way they assisted me and they made sure that they helped me and they didn't take a month's rent off of me and give me nothing they literally would give me real medicine to help

After checking in we were directed to the Feline floor. Shortly after DJ came over to greet us and directed us to an exam room. Sans examined the exam room. lol The doctor came in and examined Sans. He was so busy exploring and looking out the window that he declined a treat. DJ comforted Sans while receiving his shot in his rear leg. A few minutes later he was back to exploring and didn't want to leave. DJ assisted with getting Sans ready and we proceeded to check out. There was an issue with my card and my bank was not open yet. David, Mia, Lauren and Kelly were very kind and patient as I sat in the waiting room to resolve the matter. Companion Pet Hospital team extends care, patience and compassion which means so much when it comes to my fur baby. Thank you!

I'm really taken aback by the negative reviews. I have never had a bad experience at Radnor…read moreVet--and I'm here every month. They are extremely accommodating and are able to see my rabbits the day of if need be. Additionally, they have walk-in appointments that are about twice the amount of a normal exam fee, which are very convenient for emergencies. The vets always follow up after a visit, and they also respond by e-mail quickly. All the staff (receptionists and vet techs) are so nice as well. I also wanted to note that a lot of the reviews state that they should have been provided more information. I feel that I'm always provided the information I need, but I'm also well-versed in rabbit care to determine what questions I need to ask about my rabbits' care. If you're not asked about blood work, you should be asking instead of wondering why you haven't been asked? Doing blood work has always been made clear to me before procedures, and I know that they would be more than happy to run a panel for your pet. I have had one experience with Dr. Donato in my three years as a client and did not find him to be "arrogant or money-hungry" at all. He told me that I seemed like I knew what I was doing in terms of taking care of my rabbit and even took me to the back to let me see the x-ray of my rabbit's stomach.

PART 2- REPLY I SAID WHAT I SAID....AND I MEANT WHAT I…read moreSAID! Your response speaks volumes, and now I totally understand why your front office staff/office manager are the way they are and why they mishandled this situation. 1. It doesn't matter who is registered on your records, it is OUR FAMILY pet, AND I am the one who brings our rabbit in for treatment and pays the bills! So, if my daughter isn't around, I am the one that is to be addressed...Period! 2. I have been living while being BLACK for 56 years now, and how dare you tell me who/what isn't racist to me, or state how I should or shouldn't feel during some of the interactions I've had there. 3. You need to speak what you know and not what you were told. You have a bunch of false and twisted statements in your response. You weren't there, and by chance you were, you should have stood up and handled the situation in a correct and professional manner. 4.Your office manager DID NOT apologize to my daughter at all. The apology only came when I spoke to her and brought it to her attention that she didn't, only then did she apologize to me. Also, you failed to comment on the threat that your office manager made (which is probably you) insinuating that I should not make the statement that I felt this situation was racially motivated. I'm not surprised though after reading your response and you or your staff not taking any accountability. Some food for thought. It's not always what you say, it's HOW you say it! That's customer service 101. 5. Speaking of being rude? Well maybe if you train your front line not to be rude, then maybe they would not receive it back. Try training them to be kind and helpful, instead of short and snippy! And for the record, I am only referring to about 3 people on the front-line staff that I have encountered within this last year 6. I could go on and on, but it's so not worth it. But I will say in closing, we don't need your validation or approval to take our business elsewhere. I made that clear that we no longer want anything to do with people who can't own up to a mistake that was caused on their end and effectively rectify it with grace, class and professionalism.
