This time around my sister and brother in law and thier kids also came along for the first time. Becky the property manager greeted us as we arrived at our 4pm check-in. She explained everything in detail and walked us through the cabin and made us feel very welcomed. The unique one story cabins are arranged in a horseshoe configuration and are named according to their theme, and in the middle a beautiful courtyard is shared with gueats. We actually stayed in their latest newly remodeled two story cabin called The Marlin. It's located right next to the main property. At night it's very safely lit and your vechicals are parked under the structure. It sleeps 10 with two full baths and all the amenities you need to make your stay enjoyable. It has a second story large balcony and a small third story balcony as well. Access to the beach is at walking distance or a short drive. After hurricane Harvey the cabins sustained damage and there was even a waterline marker when the storm surge came in. After alot of hard work and tireless vollenteers the newly remodeled cabins are better than ever. Becky was even kind enough to show us inside The Rock and Roll cabin and the remarkable improvements they made. The Dancing Dunes is highly recommend which ever cabin you stay in. Check out their Facebook page or website to make reservations in advance because they do fill up quickly. We're definitely coming back next year and can't wait to make memories again.

Perfect location and price that doesn't break the bank for a quick trip.

My son's bed was apparently broken and we were charged for it, when all the furniture needs replacing to be honest. I didn't lay on the bed so I think it likely could have been broken before we got there and we were any easy way to replace it. My husband I are very disappointed with the stay here. I guess I need to check all beds before and after I stay places, as we have never had this problem and travel often. I will definitely encourage all friends and family to not stay here moving forward. Save yourself the hassle and ROACHES and go elsewhere!

La La Land was a gorgeous home and we would definitely stay at this unit again. Unfortunately, our most recent stay included several service and maintenance issues that impacted the experience. While the staff was courteous, response times were challenging when problems arose. The most significant issue occurred on our final night when multiple fire alarms sounded in our unit for an extended period of time while we were traveling with an infant and toddler. Because maintenance was not immediately available on-site, it took quite some time to resolve the situation. I truly believe our experience would have been very different had maintenance personnel been available on the property to respond more quickly to urgent issues. For a resort of this size and caliber, having faster on-site maintenance support would greatly improve the guest experience and help prevent minor issues from becoming major disruptions. Cinnamon Shore has so much potential to provide an exceptional vacation experience, and I hope management continues investing in the operational side of the resort to match the beauty of the property itself.

To make matters worse, the house we stayed in had cockroaches, which was already unacceptable considering the cost of staying here. Larry and Juan from courtesy patrol then approached and harassed my family over an investigation that none of us were involved in. During the interaction, they were taking photos of me and my family, which made us extremely uncomfortable. When I confronted them about it, Larry responded with, "You're not that sweet, sweetheart," before they became even more disrespectful and unprofessional, eventually calling me and my sister "f***ing ret*rds." What makes this even more disturbing is that I have the entire interaction recorded. I have special needs family members, so hearing that kind of language was beyond offensive and unacceptable. No guest, resident, or homeowner should ever be treated this way, especially by staff or security personnel who are supposed to make people feel safe. After being a loyal guest and homeowner family since 2009, I am honestly shocked and disgusted by the level of harassment, disrespect, and overall experience my family had.

Several were up for sale. There was a community pool with close walking distance. We never used it, but it seemed nice. The best part was the proximity to the beach. In my opinion, it was too far from both Port A and Corpus Christi, but overall I was upset by it. Just had to have designated drivers in place since we were on vacation and had 11 of us altogether. It's almost pitch dark on the road at night and there aren't many passing zones with it being a 2-lane highway. Find your group and have a good time, y'all!

Notification would have been a courtesy, not a legal obligation. Our stay became a nightmare when management attempted to illegally evict us from midnight to 2 a.m., claiming our service animal breached the contract. This was baseless, given the pet-friendly listing, and a direct violation of federal law, as service animals are exempt from pet restrictions. The harassment was relentless, waking our children, including an infant and our immunocompromised 8-year-old, causing significant distress. Management showed zero ability to de-escalate or handle the situation professionally. Initially, management tried to force us to move to a neighboring house that stunningly reeked of cigarettes, an unacceptable and health-threatening environment, especially for our immunocompromised child. When we refused, they offered a second "accommodation" at one-third the rental cost we paid--a filthy property infested with cockroaches and fire ants, grossly understocked, and unfit for habitation. We requested police assistance to clarify our rights, but the responding officers were shockingly incompetent, admitting they were "irritated to be called out." Instead of upholding the law, they threatened to arrest us if we didn't pack up and leave, despite this being an illegal eviction attempt without formal notice or court process. Management's excuse? The owner's child was "highly allergic to dogs." This raises the question: what would have changed between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. the next morning? This justification was flimsy and irrelevant, given the property's pet-friendly marketing. Exhausted and traumatized, we checked out early after recovering some rest. The entire experience was unconscionable, marked by tactless, selfish owners and utterly inept property management who endangered our family's health and safety, particularly our immunocompromised child. We heard that there were going to be complimentary breakfast goodies when we booked the room, but never received it/ were unsure how to make it happen. We checked in late so maybe we missed the opportunity to order it.
