Ladies, Allow me to share with you the reasons why I love Uplift Guide Fitness:…read more 1. I feel safe and comfortable -around only ladies! (Never felt like that in mixed gyms before) 2. The trainers are super! Always assisting me, making sure that I do exercises in the right form no only to avoid injuries, but also to get results- one day Chris watched me doing a exercise with weights and she corrected by posture by a couple inches and BAM! What a difference!! -sore for 3 days! But results within 2 weeks!! Yah me!!! Trainers are literaly 'super trained" and accessible when I have questions! They always explain with clarity what is expected from each exercise and the way that it works in specific muscles, including the right weight, pace, and "very important" -control over the movement! And believe me! If you do exactly that they guide you to do --You will see results in not time! 3. The classes!! -they are fantastic! I love all the classes but -yoga, barre, or cardio classes are my favorites, they have taken my weight training to the next level. There are so many to choose from! The instructors are fun and passionate! they don't motivate, they inspire! 4 .The weight training programs -I love that my routines change, I never bore! I may sometimes modify the weight or the number repetitions but focus on the good form and then -BAM again!! my body changes too!! Trainers teach me the whole routine for the first time and record my profile. They help me to track my progress and create realistic goals. 5. Motivation -I am not only surrounded by excellent trainers, but also by strong ladies. I have witness the transformation of many ladies. I know where they started at and where they are at now with their fitness! It helps to see committed ladies working out so hard and watching their progress -and that they notice mine too! At other gym that I used to go, I was intimidated by the trainer, or other users - not here! I look forwards to go! I have a gym ready bag with me all the time! That's not all; Uplift has incredible challenges with prizes! (Although, the ultimate best price ever is the results -and finally fit in those jeans). 6. The facilities are super clean, and the fitness room is "state of the art" with "on demand" classes to accommodate my schedule! There is a big screen with a projector and I can select the class that I want to do and the duration at my convenience! 7. Uplift is 24 hours! For a couple months during the winter, I worked all day ! But I was going to the gym super early or after hours and get me work out done! -hours of operations are never a problem. 8. I never have to wait for machines or equipment! Uplift has enough of everything! I have my working out buddy and we both do the same routines when we are together. Yes!! Get a friend to go work out with you!! This makes every " burn" look super fun!! I have been a client from Uplift for over 6 months and now my body ask to be taken to the gym! and I can only put 5 stars to recommend this gym here, but it truly deserves 10.

Jill and Chris are wonderful at guiding you in your fitness journey. It's women only and you get…read morethe benefit of having workout plans that are geared towards you. It's a smaller gym, but the guidance is helpful in getting on track. There are classes such as yoga, tabata, and others to help you along. The downside is there are no showers (there is a locker room though), the machines could be updated, and the parking sometimes is annoying. But I prefer this gym over places like the Y because of the supportive atmosphere and no little kids playing on gym equipment. It's truly geared towards women which is nice.

I took a cooking class here with a co-worker and I didn't expect it to be as amazing as it was! Our…read morework offers wellness dollars to use for classes so first off, the class was free. Secondly, the menu was delicious. Third, the kitchen was huge and I felt like I was on a cooking TV show. Childhood dreams fulfilled. The thing I wasn't expecting was that since the class was in a group of about 15 people, we weren't able to cook everything individually. We were split into groups and each group got to decide what item they got to cook. Everyone in my group each worked on a different step of the directions. I liked it and it was fun but I was hoping to work through the whole recipe on my own - however, I know that's not possible with such a large group. The chef Jeremy was charismatic and very knowledgeable. He taught us techniques on how to cut certain vegetables/fruits and tips on cooking as well. I loved his hands-on approach ! He was super nice as well. Of course, the menu couldn't be beat. Although we weren't able to take the food home (bummer) we served the food family-style and everyone got to serve themselves and get seconds. Had a great time overall!

Best massage therapy around! Beautiful facility hiding in a healthcare clinic. Not only the best…read moremassage I've ever had but they also offer Acupuncture, Personal Training, Pilates, Yoga, Life Coaching, Functional Nutrition, Cooking classes with an emphasis on health and wellness. What I love about this place is there are no high-pressure sales to keep coming back. No one was trying to sell me anything, just wanted to know how they could make me feel better while I was there. What a concept!! The massage was more about my wellness and not what I have often found in spas which I call "fluff and buff". It was simply AMAZING. I walked away happily massage drunk and like a proper noodle. My therapist made my low back feel so much better! And I felt nurtured and supported. I love the vibe here, with the staff being super friendly and everyone is happy and chill. I had an opportunity to walk about the facility and found a great little gym, some incredibly friendly trainers, a bar class full of laughing ladies in a gorgeous group fitness room. I even had a delicious gluten-free no-bake brownie bite made with a vanilla protein powder they sell. But, they didn't try to sell me the powder! They just told me about it and offered me the sample. I even got a recipe card so I can make it myself if I wish. Sooooo refreshing not to be asked over and over if I want to buy packages of massage (which they definitely have), when I want to rebook, or if you buy this powder today you get a discount. OH! And, sadly for the therapists but great for consumers who have issues with this, there is NO TiPPING in a health care facility. (Who knew?!) So, you simply pay for the massage or service and that is that. The other great thing is they are open 7 days a week so I can get a massage anytime that is convenient for me. Mornings, evenings and weekends. What a gem! My only question is why didn't I know about this sooner?! I love this place. I can't wait to go back for acupuncture!

I've been coming to The Pilates Body about 3 times a week since August 2019 and I am hooked. I…read morefirst discovered them through ClassPass. Teri is the absolute best. I love her Tower, Yamuna, and TRX Pilates classes. She has been a fitness instructor for many years and keeps the energy up and positive and humorous but also uses expert clinical direction for body movements and alignment. She has a keen eye for proper form and offers personal adjustments which is my favorite kind of instructor. You will see and feel results when you start coming to her classes. I also love Jennifer's jump and Power Tower classes. I can feel every muscle working and it's a guaranteed solid workout. Plus she's so kind and friendly and the classes have great sequences. I purchased a package of private Pilates sessions with Teri as a gift for someone else and they absolutely love her attention to body movement and how their body feels after a 1:1. They say there is so much more awareness throughout the day of body position and posture and that they make corrections for better support. This place is a gem-- I don't mind the drive from St Paul in rush hour to attend any of the classes here. The instructors are high quality and very well trained.

The fun doesn't stop there! The also offer mat, Yamuna body rolling,,4!types Pilates classes and a nutritionist to help you meet each goal. This has been be best, most rewarding find since my move to Woodbury. Check them out. They each are wonderful, and will tailor a program suited to your individual or group needs. .
