Dear Robert at Couch Potato, aka Livewire Communication,
Your offer of smartphone sale on Swappa was graded fairly with fair price. Not great but fair. Rare these days. This was good.
When I notified a defect, you have responded properly by sending me couple of batteries. But the problem would have required more parts and time. This was still good.
The problems were;
1. Making a buyer pay for a defective item return postage first, and setting too low return shipping cost so buyer loses money for a defective return
2. Issuing low priced return shipping postage even when notified it wasn't enough, and make an already unhappy customer visit USPS office twice
3. Insisting seller inspection of IMEI# and physical inspection prior to refund even when pictures of IMEI number sticker and defective symptoms were uploaded on sales website
4. Not issuing refund until requested and possibly playing a USPS trick on Halloween day
5. The whole return process took me 14 contacts and 2weeks. The experience was worse than worst of Aliexpress.
6. Your presale inspection process didn't catch the problem of not charging. Quite a major failure on your QA procedure.
Hope you improve and hope you lose your bad customer service traits. read more
