Having to rush our dog to Emergency at 10:30 pm because he was shaking and severely…read morehyperventilating was awful but the kindness of the receptionist, the vet/doc AND the other dog owner's in the waiting area, made this experience quite awesome! The seemingly smaller scale office, could just be the front, was quaint, not particularly decorated, and was peppered with a few others who were so very nice. The lobby felt like a community. I like that after my dog had been seen, but before he was given costly services that I'd prefer to have administered by his regular vet, that's another story, I was given the opportunity to opt for or against those recommendations. Our doggy had an injection and was given some scripts which worked well for him. I'll tell you this, you need to have your money/CC because you're going to need it. I am so very grateful for the pleasant experience we had. By the way, parking was ample and the bathroom right off the lobby was "Spic & Span," you've got to be a little long in the tooth to recall that product, clean!!!!

Took our 4-year old dog here back in August due to swollen lymph nodes. Tested for lymphoma; came…read moreback negative. Did a complete CBD, and were told "we will need to do a complete biopsy on her lymph nodes, and then we will be able to tell exactly what's wrong with her". TWO WEEKS after the biopsy, and multiple phone calls later, we FINALLY heard from Lefebvre Jr. that it showed the lymph nodes were reactive, but not cancerous, but still did not know what was wrong with her. He blamed the slow results on the pathologist that he uses, after apologizing for taking so long, and said because of the delay he was thinking about switching to another pathologist. Our dog was given a round of steroids and antibiotics. Lymph nodes seemed to go down, so we were told all medications could be stopped. Never once insisted on seeing her again or to even see how she was doing; all of this over the phone. By this time, each time we called to try and speak to Lefebvre Jr. he was "never in" or "sick", so all these instructions are being given by vet techs and assistants. Lymph node swelling came back, we were told to give her only 5mg of steroid a day. Fast forward a few weeks and several emergency vet trips later, we finally get in to see Lefebvre for an appointment, and his assistant comes in and tells us there's nothing more that they can do and to go see a specialist in New Orleans. We ask where Lefebvre Jr. is and she proceeds to tell us that he's sick and would not be in that day. Right at noon, that very same day, I see Lefebvre Jr. walk by my place of business to have lunch next door, scrubs and all, RIGHT AFTER we were told he was sick and would not be in. We get in to see another vet after THREE MONTHS of being told by Lefebvre that our dog does not have cancer. New vet, in a matter of a couple of hours and a few tests later, proceeds to tell us that our dog did indeed appear to have cancer. Our hearts were shattered. Three months of being told our dog did not have cancer, that there was no cause of concern, that we could ease our worry and the only thing needed were some steroids and antibiotics. We have watched our sweet baby steadily decline, she has suffered more than I could have ever imagined; all this due to the negligence of this practice. I have NEVER experienced such unprofessionalism or dishonesty in all of my life. I never leave reviews, let alone one of this caliber, but so much damage, hurt and suffering has been done by this vet. I would NEVER recommend anyone taking their beloved pets here. EVER.

The service is awesome: everyone was very welcoming and seemed to actually care about the situation. Something that I truly appreciated was letting the pet owners go into the exam rooms during COVID. It helped to relieve the anxiety and definitely did not make me feel suspicious about what they are doing to my cat. On a side note, the clinic is very clean. Lastly, the cost was very reasonable.
