The Bingo is cheap and the firemen who work Bingo are adorable and super super friendly. They often have chowder you can purchase and proceeds go to the Hall. The snack bar has tons of yummy options! (Also, the fact that I've won here twice has nothing to do with my rating :) )

I love the sense of community when you are in this building. We come here twice a year for their fundraising meat raffles, they do one right before Thanksgiving and right before Easter. It's free to get in and free to drink their draft beer, pop and water. The raffles are $.50 a piece and it usually lasts a solid three hours. I love watching my dad light up when he sees his old friends, one of which happens to be my God Father. It's a great time and supports a great cause.

Super professional--a million times better than the medics who responded to my 911 call yesterday…read more I'd called 911 after experiencing worsening symptoms consistent with Coronovirus. Rachel, the medic from Twin Cities Ambulance seemed to have made up her mind about not wanting to take me to the hospital before she even took my vitals. She greeted me at the door, & tried to tell me I'm not actually immunocompromised. Your guy corrected her, told her that I am indeed, and that his wife has the same condition. At one point, Rachel and her partner returned to their truck for a minute, and your guy stood standing in the doorway. I'm not sure what the medics had said or done, but I heard him shout back "You can't just leave her here." I wish I had caught his name. It was nice feeling like I had someone in my corner yesterday. I wish him so many blessings as he continues in his journey.

Over the weekend we had a serious situation. We had a strong odor of gas in the house. The fire…read moredepartment couldn't detect gas due to old equipment. Why hasn't the city given them proper equipment to do their jobs correct. They in turn called the gas company who could detect gas leaks and turned off the gas. I'm disappointed in the fire department not having proper gear for their jobs.

I was here for the 21st annual Wendelville 5K Harvest Moon run. My husband was running as were…read more 200-300 others, plus a kids' run and a 2 mile walk. The Harvest Moon event has one of the best post race parties. Pizza, fried baloney, hot dogs, hamburgers, Italian sausage patties, fruit, ice cream with toppings, and of course, beer( several varieties). Other than the temperature which mo one could control, it is a very nice race course and a great party. The race benefits the Wendelville Fire Dept.
