In the mean time I forgot my Mortgage Property Tax form 1098 that had over $6000.00 in deductions. When I brought that in she stated that it would not make a difference. Went to two different tax places and they told me how wrong she was and that she was just being lazy. Because she filed my taxes with out all the correct forms she would need to file an amended form and she didn't want to do that. Going from owing the IRS to they owe me close to $2000.00. The lady up front took it upon herself to take our kids up front to color and play with toys and really occupied them. She was so nice and let them pick from a grab bag of toys that she had. I could tell that she had kids and grandchildren. It was so helpful because our toddlers started to get restless after 2 minutes. You know how little kids can be. Her taking them under her wing made it easy for us to talk with our tax professional and get it done with less stress. Thanks a bunch. We will back again next year.

He said he mailed the check today and apologized that Jeremy gave me a date. What? Then he said He didn't get time to do until today. Are you freaking kidding me. Then I asked him to verify the check was for 96.95. He hemmed and tried to be evasive until I pushed the issue. He finally admitted he only wrote the check $40. I asked him why. I told him Jeremy had said it would be the full amount. Then he flat out told me Jeremy did not. So. Now I'm overcharged, not refunded as agreed, and accused of lying. I wish I could leave 0 stars. If you are able to get access to enter Hill Air Force Base, I would 100% recommend getting your taxes done here. This H&R Block location is only opened up seasonally and is located in the BX. There are two Senior Tax Analysts here and they have extensive years of experience in filing taxes- Julie and Betty. I had the great honor of having Julie help us file our taxes. We brought in all of our physical tax forms from W2s, 1099s, education, stocks, etc to our appointment. If you don't have physical copies, you can also email the forms to whoever the appointment is with as well. The best thing is that you can email it right on the spot during your appointment and they will print it out for you. No need to stress! During the filing process, for the first time ever, literally, we had someone explain to us every step of the process and allowed us to ask questions. Julie actually made us understand pretty much the ins and outs of what we were filing and helped us find areas on how we could save money. It was such a smooth process I was actually in shock because I've filed taxes with other companies and individuals and have never received such great level of care before. Most places expect you to give them all of your tax forms, they enter them into their system and say "here, you're done. This is your state return and your federal return. This is how much you owe and this is how much you will get back." And you literally have no idea what anything else means aside from knowing whether you owe or why you are getting money back. This is not the case with Julie and Betty. During your one hour appointment, they will go through in great detail what the forms are and what they mean. They will also explain why you owe and why you will get back money and where these numbers are derived from. This is why I highly suggest coming to this H&R Block. Do note though, this H&R Block location is only opened up seasonally during tax season so be sure to tax advantage. It is always best to call and make an appointment as I do not think they accept walk-ins. They also do military discount for filling your taxes with them.
