First of all I just want to say that I normally don't complain however I am super annoyed that I…read morecan't even communicate with my kid's teacher in regards to his after school program since the teacher is out for the rest of the school year. I had to call every Tuesday and Wednesday to get an update on whether or not the program was still going on the day of. One day I didn't call and my child was dismissed regularly without notifying me that the read better be better program was canceled that day and my child walked home by himself which he is not supposed to and THANKFULLY he made it home safe. I call today to get specifics on their last day (graduation) asking if my child will be staying after and I meet him there or will he have to come home then we go back for the ceremony and the front office lady was acting clueless and not giving a straight specific answer. As a school A CHILDS SAFETY SHOULD BE PRIORITY. A parent should have communication with a substitute if the ORIGINAL teacher is going to be out because how am I supposed to be notified of ANYTHING. I firmly believe this school needs a whole NEW front office staff. HORRIBLEEEEE.

Agreed teachers are horrible disrespectful have 0 patience for children with special needs and…read moremental illnesses. I was told to get out of a classroom while my child and I were yelled at in front of other students. Complete unprofessional garbage!

When my son first came to this school in first grade, it was amazing. The teachers, office staff,…read moreeven the principal has a special place in my heart. I love everything about this school and raved to everyone that would listen. This last year has been the worst year at this school. We moved and wanted to stay in this school, so we were approved for a variance, this was the worst thing i could have done. The dynamic of this school changed almost immediately. There is an ongoing problem at this school with bullying, even though they appear to have no tolerance. My son have been beat up, threatened and told by school staff he was a lier. My son was failing and I never knew about it for a whole half semester. THen when i call numerous times to complain it was told that MY SON WAS THE PROBLEM by head office staff. Needless to say our time at this school is done. Think twice.

I love my kid's teachers, and most of the staff is open and friendly. The school "nurse", however,…read moreis awful to deal with. I swear, she gets her daily jollies out of being an obnoxious, stuck up BRAT to parents. She seems to enjoy picking and choosing when to enforce certain requirements for medication, and when she suddenly "changes" the rules on you, whips out the rule sheet to show you she's right....... even though they're rules she's never bothered enforcing previously. I will be trying to find another school for my kid solely due to this woman.

This school is still struggling like all other Arizona schools but the staff really do try…read more School's performance letter grade was a "B" for last year. And its still a fairly new campus. They are rising up. I don't hear many good things on the principal & to tell you the truth she might want to change careers. Maybe a district super attendant position with no parent/student or human contact? She is above calling back or emailing a concerned parent. BUT the assistant principal, Ms. Chapman, does make up for the principals lacking. She is prompt & courteous. And I thought for a long time she was the principal as she is so involved. She truly loves her job. Many teachers are younger and thus less experienced but they are bright & excited to teach. Many AZ schools are doing this I hear to to pay less for their faculty. Is it true? Not sure. Anyways, one thing this school does & I LOvE them for it is play the national anthem every morning! Nothing like enjoying my days off & being filled with patriotic pride from my kids school down the street. The population is primarily Hispanic. Though many parents don't speak English they are very involved. All school concerts are always a hit. Family orientated for sure. The front office girls deserve an award. All indoor campus is also nice. Again, those front office rock stars, such as Grace, are the gatekeepers at the front of the school & protect our babies as they monitor who enters the building. Hence, you better sign in & get visitor badges before they buzz you in. Thank you Tres Rios! Go Pumas!

5/5 Legacy Charter…read moreSchool -- Home of the Bulldogs -- has been such a wonderful experience for our family! We absolutely love this school. The teachers and staff truly care about each student and go above and beyond to help them grow academically and personally. The sense of community is strong, and you can feel the positive energy as soon as you walk onto campus. Our kids are excited to go to school every day, and we've seen so much progress in their confidence, learning, and friendships. Legacy provides a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment that really brings out the best in its students. We're so proud to be part of the Bulldog family!

Rachel Crossman appears to consistently overlook what should be the top priority, student safety…read more In my experience, she also tends to dismiss or ignore concerns raised by teachers and parents, which makes it difficult to feel heard or supported. With the level of authority she holds, her judgment calls carry significant weight, yet many of those decisions raise serious concerns about whether they're being made in the best interest of students and staff. It's also worth noting that she encourages people to leave her positive reviews on yelp, which makes the feedback you see there feel less organic and potentially influenced. Because of this, I would take especially positive reviews with a grain of salt and consider seeking out a wider range of perspectives before forming an opinion.
