Another retro shop but I didn't think the prices were outlandish, amazing! I even saw an old green Singer sewing machine for sale and not dissimilar to the one I had a long time ago. Also noted was the old dial telephone at $45 which isn't too bad a price but on the other hand, if it were red and at that price...Ebay here I come, have a look for yourself how much these beauties go for because it's ret$ro. It's a large shop and looks almost sparse but I don't mind that, as it allows room to move comfortably without knocking anything over. Oh and they had a set of 4 yellowish vinyl and steel kitchen chairs for $5 each, I had to rub my eyes twice, even at a garage sale they'd cost more. Plus all the other ususal suspects were there like dressers, clothing, jewellery, crockery and stacks more. But they will be moving soon is what the shop owner mentioned to me and soon as the lease was running out. So stay posted to their Facebook pafe for details.

I visited The Warehouse the other day to see what it was all about…read more Owner Sarah described it as a place selling rustic used hardware and homewares, and that's exactly how it is. In fact, it's almost a bit of an antique store. In amongst tools and hardware of all sorts are wall hooks, books, tables, teacups and evena spinning wheel! There were a number of things which caught my eye, in particular a gorgeous blue table and some large metal flowers. Everything looked clean and in good shape for selling. Though not necessarily cheap, their prices seemed reasonable to me given the quality of mose of the wares. If you are looking for tools, this is a good place to go - they have heaps. There were many shovels and garden tools, some ladders etc. I would recommend this place if you are looking to redecorate your home or add a rustic feeling. I also suggest checking out this little gem if you love vintage shopping! There is a relaxed, quirky atmosphere and plently of eye-catching wares! The owners were lovely to talk to, and happy to show me around the shop. I really liked how this adds to the little bundle of business in Woodside. It feels right at home and being a little different to most second-hand stores in the area gives it a bit of an edge. It definitely suits the atmosphere of the Adelaide Hills. It is on the main street, but set back, so keep that in mind or you might walk straight past it! Highly recommend going for a browse! Loved it.

I could not believe how huge it was the first time I went in there. You could spend hours browsing in this store. They have everything pre-loved from clothes, furniture, electrical, toys, games, books, curtains, towels, bedding, shoes even some special things in a locked cabinet near the checkouts. Some of the smaller items, like kitchen utensils and small toys, they have wrapped together and sell as a pack for only a few dollars. I managed to get a fantastic game for my son there that he just loves and it's so simple but i have never seen it in a shop before. He has had hours of play from it and will continue to use it for a while linger yet and it was only $4.00! No problems with returns as long as you have your receipt and it's within a timely manner since the purchase date. All the electrical items they sell have to be tagged and tested prior to sale so I haven't had any issues anyway. Even better if you have stuff to get rid of at home they have a bin at the front of the store you can deposit items into. And to take it one step further when the store is open so is the back door and you can just drive around there and they will take any donations straight out your car for you. Makes it easier than trying to shove a garbage bag of stuff in a donation bin somewhere. Plus you can take items that won't fit in one of the bins so you can get rid of anything there. Definitely a place I will visit every now and then just to see what's on offer as stock is always changing. And as they say - someone else's trash may be your treasure!

Maybe it's a girl thing, but I find myself drawn to clothing. In particular the vintage kind. heeeellllloooooo swwwooppp! I was so excited to find swop! Love that I can swap my old for new. Woo hoo!! Just set off Hindley Street, you will find the store down some stairs. Lucky I saw the sign. This set up is a good size, split into two rooms. What is great about this store (wait for it boys...) is that you will find an almost equal amount of mens and womens clothing here. I was actually pretty surprised on the mens clothing selection. So awesome! As for pricing, not too bad actually. These are good quality brands. They do not accept any "fast fashion". So that means, no cotton on, valley girl or supre. Phew! This totally reflects on what you will find here. Winning! The staff here are really lovely as well. Not pushy or intrusive. They welcome you and are happy to answer questions. I love feeling comfortable to browse and not feel pressured into buying. Looking forward to bring my first batch of clothing here to see what it is like to swop or sell. YAYYYYYYY!!!

The only other possibility I can think of is that the owners/workers are passionate about thrift in general, or maybe about recycling and cutting down waste, but I really don't know. Whatever their motives the result is an op shop that has items that are dirt cheap. I often find myself scurrying quickly away from the place in case they change their mind and charge me double on my items--that's right, a whole 80 cents, that's almost a $1! There is even an area outside and to the right of the entrance that has a sign "FREE" where items are free for people to take. No matter how many times you double check, they really mean it, that area is free. From the free zone I've wombled home wine glasses and shoe preservation boxes. Inside the store is three rooms: one for clothes, one for kitchenalia, and one for bric-a-brac and books. They've said they also have a furniture section but if there is one I couldn't work out how to get there but my guess is that it is next door to the main shop.
