My short rib dish was surprisingly good-deboned tender meat on a bed of rice, topped with mellow red peppers & green sauce. The ribs were moist but delicious. Giving it 3 stars because the burger was top notch and they delivered it to our table inside the taproom. The food selection was your standard rich fare, which I love: fries, curds, nachos, brisket, burger, poutine, wings, etc. We decided to split the curds with spicy honey sauce and the pork nachos plus fixings for $11 and $12. Everything was a couple more dollars than I'm used to for a food truck but after we got our dishes it made sense, the portions were overflowing! The nachos were a little too wet, taking away the crispiness of the buried chips, from the meat and cheese but at least there was a lot of meat. The fixings included pickled onions, jalapenos, lettuce, cilantro and a pico de gallo made of tomatoes and peppers. The combination of the onions, unique pico and meat was super tasty. On the other hand I enjoyed the curds less. They were overcooked, hopefully a one off, and something about the breading consistently wasn't right. The outside was too crispy and inside there was an excessive amount of air pockets separating the thick outside breading from the cheese inside. I would have preferred a lighter coating, perhaps this could be their style.

The menu on the truck was updated with correct inventory and ordering was easy. Pro tip- there's a cash discount! I ordered a large pizza to go half cheese half pepperoni and was satisfied. Excellent Italian eats on wheels - 5 stars!…read more Mario's is now one of my favorite food trucks. I caught up with them today at Aegir Brewing in Elk River, MN. I sampled 3 items from Mario's, an appetizer (Ciabatta Parm Bites), a small 8" pizza (Meat Eaters), and a dessert (Classic Cannoli). Every bite of my food was wonderful. And judging from the number of people lining up to get food, many other people agree with me. The employees at the brewery were also grabbing food and raving about Mario's. Yum! As a final note (to avoid confusion), this truck is NOT the same business as the bricks n' mortar restaurant in Watertown. The truck is an independent business that simply licensed the name from the restaurant several years ago. I had a nice conversation with the owner and he explained it to me. I don't hand out many 5 star reviews but Mario's deserves it. I highly recommend trying this truck if it's in your area. Thumbs up! -Maxx

the truck was at Luce Line brewing for the Friday fish fry…read more the fish and chips were good, but didn't justify the $34 per plate order. we got 2 orders and split it between 2 adults and a tween. for $68 (plus tip), I have to say I expected more. each plate has one piece of fish, and ours wasn't that thick. the taste was good, but I didn't feel like it was anything special. now the tartar sauce, that was spectacular. tangy and creamy and oh so delicious. I understand food trucks cost more to operate, but the price just wasn't justified by the food in my opinion. they also had a burger ($12) and a double burger ($18). but we didn't try those.

The quality would have been disappointing even if if had come from Wendy's. But to see how far the Parlour Burger has fallen makes me really sad. I used to go out of my way to find the truck. Now I'll make sure to avoid it. On the plus side, the fries were great, and were a good deal at $5.

I tried one with a mix of the coconut curry (mild) and garlic chili (hot) sauces. Ooh it was delicious! Soft and flavorful with the coconut and spicy tastes combining nicely. I decided to take some samosas to go and they were very yummy as well. I would love to get their frozen momos next time to take home and enjoy. I tried the veggie ones but they also have chicken and lamb. My friend bought a jar of their coconut curry sauce. The folks running the food truck were very friendly (including Subash the founder) and the bright orange shirts were a clever idea to stand out. Can't wait to try them again!

There were 40+ food trucks in attendance. After doing a lap around the area, this place caught my eye because of two reasons: the long line and the kimchi Reuben. I love kimchi and I love Reubens so what can go wrong? Well... Nothing! Though some might find it salty, the flavors worked weirdly well together. The sandwich was on a sesame bun and filled to the brim with corned beef, cheese, pickles, and of course, kimchi. I took a bite and everything burst out on the other side. I quickly turned to the spoon and enjoyed every bite. The Bulgogi bowl also seemed to be popular. Unfortunately, after doing some googling, I'm still unsure of how to find this truck again. I have linked their twitter page though! If you find this elusive truck, I definitely recommend trying it.

All of the food was absolutely fantastic and incredibly well priced. $11 for the tacos and like 12 ish for the torta. The worker is so kind, and the food was incredible. The only downside is there's nowhere to sit. The area around is a little loud and busy while you wait. However, the food is ready quick. Highly recommend everyone try!
