It contained everything that someone passing through or camping would need such as groceries, souvenirs, alcohol, a small cafe, and an ice cream parlor/bakery. The huckleberry pie was delicious (probably the best I have ever had) and I also had a scoop of huckleberry ice cream on the top which was to die for! Honestly one of the best things I have ever experienced in my life. I will be returning if I am back in the area to have some pie and ice cream and would love to try the cafe next time.

A few months back one of my sisters brought home dehydrated hibiscus, which I didn't even know was a thing. It was absolutely delicious, and it's become a favorite snack. I've also got my hands on some pretty high quality cat food here, too. For really good prices. There's also a plethora of pretty nice hair and body care products for low prices. They rotate constantly so there's not a lot of consistency in that department, but if I wanna try something new but don't wanna pay a lot in case it doesn't work, their selection makes it way easier. They had a management change recently. Seems to have improved the place.

We happened to visit on Friday, which was their Asian-themed day, with orange chicken, garlic chicken, rice, lo mein, egg rolls, spring rolls, and several other options. Both the hot food and salad bar are sold by the pound, and there's a fountain drink machine along with a comfortable seating area where you can eat. My kids especially loved that they could get an ice cream cone for just 25 cents. We didn't really explore the grocery store itself, so this review is mostly about the prepared food area. The restroom was clean, and the lunch setup made for an easy, inexpensive stop. The only uncomfortable part of the visit had nothing to do with Super 1. Another customer was open carrying with a holster attached to very loose basketball shorts, and the firearm appeared poorly secured as he walked. That was unsettling, but it wasn't something I'd hold against the store.

The store is really good and my family used to love it, but we will not be returning or…read morerecommending it anymore because of predatory behavior by the company they contract with for security. A member of my household went back in to get one deli item that we hadn't gotten. Because you walk past the doors to get back to the registers, she forgot she hadn't bought this item yet and began to walk out. The security person saw a confused and distressed young woman, barely over 18, making no attempt to conceal or otherwise indicate an intent to be doing anything dishonest.... And decided that the appropriate response was not to see if she was willing to pay or have a simple conversation. Instead he detained this young woman for a half an hour while calling in law enforcement. When the police officer said they didn't see any evidence of an actual crime, the security guy instead made her sign something before she could leave. She didn't understand it, but it said she owed the guy's Security Company (not paid to Super One themselves) the cost of the $12 single food item PLUS $250 in "restitutions"!! This is not someone who has any prior issues with this or another store. This is not someone who was combative or deceitful. I'm convinced he saw someone confused and vulnerable and decided he could flex his "authority" and bully them over a trivial issue to make some money for his company and pretend like he's doing something resembling his actual job. He also trespassed them for a year from the store, which is frankly pointless because none of us will be shopping here again with this hostile approach.

The store is fine. Basic grocery store with what you need. My personal experience with one of their…read morecashiers though was unfortunate and I hope they can train their employees better about how to treat customers. The cashier lady was ringing up my groceries and asked me if the apricots on the belt were peaches or nectarines. I told her that they were neither and were actually apricots. She then looks at me accusingly as if I'm trying to steal and says "Those aren't apricots. Apricots are small. Are they peaches or nectarines? I again inform her that the small, fuzzy orange and red things that look like apricots in front of her are indeed apricots and she responds by taking the bag of fruit and walking over to the produce section to see if she can figure out what these mysterious objects that she has made it perfectly clear she thinks I'm trying to steal are. After she confirms I'm not trying to steal peaches or nectarines by declaring them as apricots (which are more expensive anyway), she finally goes back to the line she has been failing to keep moving and finishes ringing up my groceries. Maybe it's because I was a bit sweaty because I was stopping in on a bike trip but this woman had a real attitude with me when all I was trying to do was buy some apricots. One of the reviews that's "not recommended" seems to share a similar experience where someone was presumed to be stealing because of how they looked.
