I've been to little Oceanauts a few times already as both an attendee for a birthday party and now as a host. The facility is clean and you can even see the staff keeping the space tidy /clean thoroughout the day. There's a great play space for all ages. I'm always impressed with their staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful and more importantly, they communicate well! During the party planning process, they're very transparent with the process. They send out clear emails detailing timelines of things that need to be. On the day of the party, I was able to enjoy hosting and talking while the staff helped me set up the party room beyond my expectations. The staff was very efficient on making sure they help you load / unload all the belongings back into your car. We can't wait to host more future parties here. Absolutely love this place!! We had our toddler's birthday party here, and all our guests loved this place. Our little one wanted a unique theme request - tea rex party (t-rex having a tea party). From the beginning Little Oceanauts team were good with communicating the details about the package. They have a huge collection of themes to pick from. Ours being slightly different ( tea party + dinosaur) we had to customize the existing theme. Sandy and team did a great job. They have so many packages to pick from and we decided on the ultimate package. They have tie ups with Amore pizza which is amazing. From the time we arrived at the venue to the time we left, all the "behind the scenes " work of check in, taking care of gifts, arranging all the table, cake cutting, distributing cake, serving pizza to kids, packing leftovers, giving party favor bags and everything else was taken care off by Sandy and her team. They also played our Spotify playlist with all favorite songs of our little one. We had time to talk to all the parents/guests and not worry about anything. Cute place to bring kids when sf weather gets chilly or damp! Came here to attend a birthday party. I think you gotta buy pizza from the shop a few doors down. Pizza was alright. Their potato sliced fries was the star of the show! Curly and crunchy!! They played K-pop demon hunter soundtrack the entire time and my kiddo LOVED it The facilities were clean and staff were friendly. From the pre party coordination and communication, to the day of set up, service, and cleanup, we seriously could not have asked for a better team. What made it memorable? The balloon arch and banner set up - was show stopping and spectacular. All we gave them was an inspo picture and the theme and they killed it! The service was what knocked it out of the park for me- their team were like worker ants quietly and quickly setting everything up in like 10 minutes, and during the party, went around to the kids and make sure lunch, snacks, drinks, fruit, and cake was being distributed to everyone. I'm happy my toddler and I experienced this indoor playground, but there are better indoor playgrounds in the city. Little Oceanauts is smaller than expected, cramped spaces, every play structure has signs of medium to heavy wear and tear/damage, and there is not enough space for kids to eat snacks. The "two & under area" is super cute, my toddler loves the ball pit and trampoline; I haven't seen those features in other indoor playgrounds. The busy boards are installed awkwardly high for the toddlers, the young kids cannot reach the top half of the busy boards on the wall. read more

Our toddler loves to explore the different play zones in the three story obstacle structure and especially likes the ball pit area and the soft foam slides, reserved for kids under 2. Then when we got there and finally caved and said we'd just pay full price for entry - they required us to pay an extra $6 for Little Oceanauts branded socks for admission, even though my kids had grippy socks on their feet from another play place - which is a total money grab (vs. a safety issue). This was my first time celebrating with Little Oceanauts, and I must say--this is the best indoor playground in town! My third son's 1st birthday was a blast. Sandy and her team were amazing from start to finish. From booking, coordinating, organizing, and setup, everything was smooth. I had some confusion with the billing and promotions, especially since we had to reschedule our party. On top of that, I got sick and was really stressed as the event was getting close. But their manager was so patient, kind, and understanding. They took the time to explain everything clearly and helped me fix all the concerns, which I truly appreciated. On the day of the event, I was really stressed and tired because we had to drop off all the balloons and decorations, and we even had to make two trips since everything didn't fit. Tina was so helpful--she assisted us with unloading and reassured us that they would take care of everything. And they truly did! When we arrived at the party, everything was already set up so beautifully, exactly the way I wanted. A very professional setup! Overall, the entire experience was smooth and stress-free. There are several levels to the main play structure and they have a variety of activities for the kids to enjoy, including a swing, a trampoline, and an inflatable tube slide. They also have a separate area for the 2 and under tots. We had our child's birthday party here at it was such an awesome experience from start to finish the Little Oceanauts team is a well oiled machine. We added the popcorn machine and it was a hit. They also partner with That's Amore, whose pizza was delicious, and Airlollipop, who made beautiful Batman themed decorations for the event. They let me drop off my non-perishable items the day before, so less for me to worry about day of the event. When people say they do everything for you here. THEY REALLY MEAN IT. I wasn't skeptical, but I was still thinking I had to probably still do SOMETHING. But no. Once you hand over your supplies and food. They do it all. We hosted my son's 5th birthday this past weekend and we are so amazed at how organized and efficient they are. We wished (or I wished) lol we booked a longer party/bigger package, since it felt like it ended too quickly. Also wish they had private party options during the day rather than just evening, but understand it would hinder business LOL. We made our own balloon arch, and it was in 3 sections, thinking I'd have to build it at the site, NOPE! They took care of it! With only 15 mins of prep time, they were able to do it all! I love that they have all the serving utensils, all the decorative props needed for the desserts, cake, etc. They tell you ahead of the "schedule" for the party and they are on it! I only wished I had remembered or asked for a group picture with everyone. Sandy, Linda and team were so great. We really didn't have to worry about a thing. We could mingle with the parents. I was blown away by the small touches from the team: serving the kids their lunch, peeling the mandarin oranges before serving them to the kids, helping guests pack to-go plates of leftovers, schleping everything to and from the car, even labeling the heavy side of the half empty cake boxes!  The Little Oceanauts team thought of everything! I have really enjoyed this place since it opened with both my kids (with a little break during Covid). Nice employees, clean play area and big area for parents to sit. Been to a few birthday parties and they were very well run. What I am disappointed is the waste that they produce. Having gone to other jumpy places that require grippy socks, I brought those to reuse (after all this is SF). Instead of being able to REUSE them, I was told that I needed purchase THEIR $3 socks. I asked why and the cashier said to support the facility. Pretty disappointed that their selfish polices result in clothing waste. We never wear these socks outside of jumpy places so to have to purchase new ones, when we had ones that were just fine was disappointing. And of course each pair is wrapped in plastic. We celebrated our little ones birthday a few weeks ago and Little Oceanauts made the experience so memorable for us and our friends. The team took care of everything, from helping us up unload the car prior to the party, decorating, setting up, making sure that everyone was present for the cake cutting (and cake eating), to timely reminders that we were close to ending and helping us load the car once again to go home. There was a team on top of everything throughout the 3 hours that we were there. As experienced planners, Linda and Sandy worked with, and guided us prior to the event. Linda helped us choose a theme and appropriate party package for the group size and timing that we wanted, Sandy helped us with guest list, last minute details and recommendations for ensuring that we could stay on top of timing. Little Oceanauts also has food and dessert options to choose from that can be customized depending on ones budget. There is also the option to bring your own food and dessert for an add on fee, which we ended up choosing. They also suggested bringing items a day ahead of time to make the setup smooth (which it was) and followed up with us ahead of time to make sure that they were available to help us the day before when we dropped things off a d ironed out final details. Our afternoon party went by well. The little ones that attended had the *best* time in the play area. My niece loves this place. She never wants to leave. I think all kids will love Little Oceanauts. They have two areas. One area is for young kids and the bigger area is for toddlers and older. I been coming here a lot for my friends kid's birthday celebrations as well. They have a area in the back where you can set up food and decorations. Its a good size area to host parties. Pretty neat.
