The service is impecable and the food is beyond amazing. I have travelled to Italy and had the finest Italian restaurants but their Gnocchi is by far the best we have ever had. If you happen to come to Sudbury, this is place is a must try for dinner. Make reservations ahead of time as it fills up really fast.

I don't usually write a review, but I can't stop thinking about my experience here. I was looking…read moreforward to it for several weeks and very excited to try their menu. First, we tried the calamari. Now, if there's calamari at a fine dining restaurant, I'm trying it. I've had some amazing calamari. This was not amazing. It was so rubbery that I had to swallow my first bite whole after chewing it for so long. We were hungry so we kept eating it. The light coating and seasoning was actually great but the texture sucked. If you know calamari, texture is a big deal. When asked how it was, we were honest but our server replied that no one else complained. So? I'm not speaking for anyone else. Anyways, she did apologize and said she'll let the kitchen know but no offer to discount it or take it off the bill. Whatever. Moving on. We ordered top sirloins. Medium rare. I chose to upgrade my side to risotto. When our meals came the steaks looked medium rare like we asked, but my husband got 3 little burnt potatoes and soggy vegetables. I got a messy pile of risotto and they took away my vegetables AND my potatoes and charged me an extra $11. Really? There was no mention of that. At least leave me the vegetables. Most sides are max $5 unless they're a protein lol. It gets worse, unfortunately. The risotto was undercooked. My husband didn't even touch the potatoes because they didn't look appetizing. And the steak... although cooked to our liking, somehow was tough. Very chewy. So disappointing. I didn't complain or send any of it back. When the server replied the way she did about the calamari, I knew she'd probably just argue and think we just like to complain when it came to everything else. I paid close to $200 for this experience and was very disappointed. Later realized the server was the owner. Honey, if you can't take a little constructive criticism and try to satisfy your customers, how do you allow yourself to learn and your business to grow? Good luck to you.

Came here on a whim while attending an event in Sudbury, and had a pleasant experience. I ordered…read morethe Egyptian pasta and it was a very unique and tasty dish! The flavours all complimented each other really well and while it seemed like the lentils and chickpeas would be a weird combination with pasta and rice, it all came together really well. Service was really good, and they gave some bread and garlic butter while we waited for our meals. I do have to warn that the prices are a bit steep - my bf and I were tempted to pass on getting dinner from here when seeing the prices but decided to stay and try it out anyways. He ordered the lobster ravioli and it was around 36 dollars and was only 3-4 pieces of ravioli which was definitely not enough for an entree, but this is common I find with lobster/seafood dishes so I am still going to give 4 stars because my meal was a large portion and was very delicious.

Of course Tommy's was the best choice for this. We decided to share everything and just nibble as we sipped on some fine wine. The Angels&Cowboys was a perfect recommendation by our waiter. Nicest cab I've had in recent memory. We took the name of the rep and will be ordering a case. Simply superb. For apps, we inadvertently went with a mushroom theme, which worked out well. Our shared apps included the portobello mushroom crostini, delicate and crunchy at the same time. I devoured mine in 3 bites. The portobello stacker is always satisfying and my favourite menu item. I should have ordered one just for me. Third was that famous warm spinach salad. Wow. Sweet and complex flavours of maple, balsamic and again with more mushrooms. Unreal. Nearby tables acknowledged our orgasmic smiles and moans. Mains were simple and elegant. I got the lamb shank with the famous risotto suggested by chef Matt. Unreal. My dinner guest had the ravioli. I ate 1/4 of hers because it was insanely sublime. My lamb was falling off the bone and sent shivers down my neck with the first bite. Why can't I cook like this? Amazzzing. Dessert measured up, too. She had a simply perfect creme brule and i devoured a Christmas pudding with a mountain of cream on top. Thick and hearty but not too sweet. Three hours later, after some fancy coffees, we were floating in heaven. Food should be celebrated and this place give us reason to love life, even in weird times. Support local businesses. These guys do everything right. Tommy's is, by far, Sudbury's best kept secret. Excellent service, superb food with nice understated vibe... and excellent value. We will be back...again...and again.

(Not a fussy dog)The cesear salad was dry hardly any dressing on it. Only little tiny pieces of bacon no bigger then little parsley flakes only 6 pieces. Was really disappointed in the quality of food. 80$ wasted for one person to eat. I was also dissatisfied with the fact that 5%of my tip to the server went to the kitchen considering the server had to bring the fries back for 3 people at the table.
