Our youngest started there mid-year, after having a rough time at another school. Not only did his issues at school disappear in the first couple of days, but he LOVES CMS. How many 4 or 5 year olds do you know that literally run into school every morning? He is one of them, although we do less running now, because the school has helped build his confidence and sense of personal responsibility to the degree that we now "car-line" most mornings. CMS isn't afraid to give the students as much information as the student feels like they can handle. A couple of weeks after starting at CMS, our youngest broke into an explanation of the political conflict that led to the pilgrims leaving England, of the dangers of the voyage on the Mayflower and the challenges they faced when they got to North America (including a sidebar to explain some of the difficulties native Americans faced with their new neighbors). Another dinner conversation was about the decomposition (his word) of leaves in the fall, and what effect that has on the larger ecosystem. This is nearly every day; but he never complains about being forced to learn, instead each subject is brought up brimming with curiosity. And the teachers... we love them. We had our first "parent-teacher" conference, and our son's teacher not only explained in general terms where he was academically, but actually had copied notes and progress reports for each area of study and spoke fluently about his specific challenges and achievements (down to letters he needed practice on, and examples of his improved writing). If you are at all local, you should consider this school for your children; there are few places on the planet more dedicated to your young people than here.

Also, you never feel insecure while working out here for some reason. I really feel at home here and everyone is friendly and more than happy to help. I take the kids swimming and even to work out since they have a youth workout room with age appropriate equipment. The basketball court is usually available and the raquetball courts aren too. They even have raquets if you need them. I prefer the Y to the rec center and will be a member for life.

Just a little over two months ago my son started at Once Upon a Daycare (right behind Jersey's) in green and I cannot tell you the night and day difference I have seen with him. While atkas is only 2, he has shown many milestone delays, especially with speech, as well as showing several austisic traits. With all of that said-- Miss Rosie has such incredible knowledge with the extra help that he has needed and I have found myself able to breathe a little bit again. I cannot say great enough things about finding this place and Miss Rosie-- but if you're looking for an affordable, helpful, fun place for your kid to go I highly recommend Once Upon a Daycare!

unreliable child care. at the first sign of a sniffle, you will get called at work asking to come…read morepick your child up. this does not work for a working parent. every Christmas, the workers, including the owner, put themselves on a gift giving list asking parents for specific presents. there's no spirit of giving when it comes to Goddard. the owner, who makes loads of $$$ off of our child's tuition, wears Fendi, YSL, Gucci to work, asks for gift cards. I've had diapers not returned to me. I've been told that my son can't come into school even though he was 21 hours (not 24 hrs) post temp making me have to call off work to continue keeping him at home. They must put their thermometers in an oven before testing our kids temps bc when I get my child home after the call for pickup, they are usually afebrile. In my advice avoid this place at all costs.
