I even think he looked forward to his classes with Masterpiece Academy. When it came time to take the actual tests, he found them challenging but manageable. Thanks to the thorough preparation he received, he knew what to expect and how to structure his answers effectively. As a result, he successfully passed the exams for AOS and Thomas Jefferson High School. I highly recommend Masterpiece Academy to anyone looking for quality academic preparation. There was insufficient transparency around time commitment, what the program fees included, and overall expectations, which made planning difficult for families. Communication and coordination were inconsistent, and several processes appeared underdeveloped. Of particular concern was how a decision impacting a child was handled and communicated, which did not demonstrate the level of care, empathy, or age-appropriate judgment expected in a youth program. We hope leadership uses this feedback to improve structure, communication, and clearly define scope, fees, and responsibilities. Families may want to ask detailed questions about program expectations and policies before enrolling.

On Monday and Tuesday, the lady at the front desk seemed confused and/or was texting on her phone. Yesterday, we were 2min early and she told us to have a seat in the front because she didn't realize the students had already been called into the class. We noticed that and then she said OK yeah go on back. On both days, I walked my daughter into the class and no Sensei greeted her. There was a female sensei, and she was standing against the wall with her arms behind her back, and I sat there for several minutes and I never saw her approach any of the kids. Today, at drop off, there was no one at the front desk. That's a safety concern. I walked my daughter into the classroom and again, no one greeted her and one Sensei was texting on his phone. It just seems as if the program has been left without adequate supervision and no courtesy greetings or anything acknowledging the kids or offering assistance when they first sit down. It's basically like my kid is just there to sit on the computer by herself for three hours. I asked her if the senseis offer help during the course and she said ....a couple of times. My expectation is definitely more than a couple of times. I wanted to share that feedback with you in case you are the owner or franchisee. Disappointed,

More importantly, our daughter loves her classes, and would take them every day if she could. I've worked in language education for over 20 years, and I've never known a better teacher then Ms. Emilie. If you are looking to enroll your kid in a language class, I don't think you could make a better decision than to enroll them here.

Just by chance I singed up my three year old for a trial French lesson with Emilie. He hasn't…read moremissed a class since then. I can wake my son up in the car by whispering in his ear "do you want to go to Emilie?" and his eyes will instantly open, and he is out and running to his French lesson. Emilie is a gifted teacher and has a way with children. She can work with various levels within the same class and always manages to keep my son asking for more.

From day one they were supportive, understanding, and made it an easy transition. Two years later, it is obvious that the entire staff cares deeply for each and every student. It feels like they are family!! I really can't say enough good things about the staff. Our son's teachers have been amazing and I feel as though they truly care about my child, continually encouraging his learning and development. Even as we have moved up in classrooms, his former teachers still check in with him and want to see how he is doing. They clearly love what they do and being with the children. I don't know how they do it, but Sharon and Monica at the front desk know the names of every single parent and child. It is seriously impressive, and shows their dedication and love of working with the children. The entire staff is wonderful!! The building is very secure, and the classrooms are kept immaculately clean on a daily basis. The hours are great for those with long work days. They provide food and a weekly menu that looks very nutritious and diversified. They have a chef on staff that cooks the meals right in the building. Not only does this save us time, it reduces food envy among the kids, and makes our days a ton easier. They also adapt easily for kids with allergies. What I love most is that they have a curriculum for every classroom. I have heard many parents say that infants don't need a curriculum, but at 2 we can see a clear difference in our son's learning vs. others his age. He learned sign language, English, and Spanish simultaneously! And without prompting he surprised us and counted to 10...he isn't even 2 years old yet!!! We are continuously amazed at how much he learns every day. It is clear that they have done thorough research into academic learning theories and methodologies and have combined the best of all of them into one great curriculum that works!!! I have no doubt that we are setting our son up for a lifetime of learning because of how they approach childhood cognitive development. Primrose uses Tadpoles to send photos and daily reports, which keeps us very in tune with his daily lessons. We get weekly reports on what they are learning and tips of how parents can integrate the lesson plans at home to continue the learning. We love the photos and videos that we get every day. He is always so happy to be there and enjoying the many activities. I highly recommend Primrose of Ashburn!
