Campers Beware! I paid $150 cash (they don't take credit cards) in advance for 3 nights at Little Lake Campground this past week. Unfortunately due to a sudden death in my family I had to check out after 2 days. Despite the campground being less than 25% full (meaning no business could have been lost due to my paid 3 days), the owner (Tammy) refused to refund me for the 3rd night, saying "no we don't do that". So despite their claims, this campground is exponentially LESS than family friendly. I have a significant amount of business to conduct in the area, but going forward I will definitely be staying elsewhere! read more

When heading towards north central Pennsylvania from Vermont, my family of four found this delightful camping area to set up for the night, near/in Jefferson NY. The tent area was soft grass and the little lake (pond) was loaded with Sunfish my 11y/o was pulling in and tossing back, using the cane pole & worms he picked up for just a few dollars from the camp store. Also available were a handful of kayaks for use around the swimming area, which came in handy when the tip of my son's fishing pole went in the water, floated away, and I had to retrieve it. :) It was overcast the night we were there, but based on the opening overlooking the water and the remote location of the campsite, I imagine the star viewing would be amazing. I can't remember the gentleman's name who answered our phone call and gave us directions there, but he was very nice, helpful, and then gave us a tent site with several open spots on either side so we had a peaceful and restful night. Definitely would go again! Details: Tent camping spot with electricity and water $32. The tub of firewood was excellent and for $10 provided 5 hours of a decent size campfire. Cash only. read more

The owners are fantastic and put a lot of effort into taking care of the guests. The whole place is well maintained and easy to get around in. The weekend we were there they had booked. DJ in the evening. The tent sites are farther out and more wooded than the RV area. Didn't get a chance to swim but the pond looked nice. There's no lifeguard though so it's wade or swim at your own risk. Would definitely stay again. read more

Went here on an off weekend so it was quiet which was really nice. This campground is off the beaten path considering we passed the road for it twice when we first got there. They have a great souvenier shop that had everything from outdoor toys for kids to food / condiments that you may have forgotten to pack for the weekend. The "lake" was more like a pond..but the kids enjoyed it for fishing. My friends and I stayed at a site with two cabins which are really close and was great because it was like our own personal site, there was also a nice stream that was near which added to the relaxation of the weekend. However the cabin sites are so close that I dont think I would wouldnt want to stay there with people I dont know at the other cabin site. There is alot of activities to do near by especially hiking. Overall this place was great and we will definitely be back! read more

Beautiful very clean and well maintained campground in a wonderful setting. Tammy was very nice and made us feel very comfortable. I have been to many campgrounds and Little Lake Camping is now on our favorite list. Will return. read more
