There are some antique-y things, some modern things, and some thing, things. This is a place you have to dig a bit. Shelves are full with treasures. Don't worry it isn't overwhelming, it is just right. The faces are so, so, so friendly here and I have never encounter a rude employee. Oh and the obvious, the money goes to a great cause. Kind of a picky shopper and we found nice furniture, kitchenware, school supplies, art supplies, decorations and garden items at the store. Expect to spend time to search out treasures but not as big as Savers. Vets4Success is superior to Savers in quality of merchandise, price and friendliness. Sometimes the books are given to a family after their loved one dies Other times the books are given while the loved one is terminally ill or in hospice care, to help the family gather and share stories of their lives before it's too late. They have created and donated over 900 of these albums to date. Their fundraisers are my favorites! They have one big annual crafty-crop where everyone gets together and crafts -- this year it seemed like there were over 100 crafters. We rubber stamped and scrapbooked and sewed. It was so much fun. They also do a much smaller weekly craft time, which is also a blast.

I believe the last couple times I checked it out, I didn't really find anything. But I felt like today could be a good day to find some treasures so I made my way in. This store is always busy! There were so many people here today. And every time I drive by, there is always a lot full of cars. That's always a good sign, you're bound to find something neat here if they are always so busy! I only had one thing in mind to find and that was anything antique. I made my way to the back to see what they had and boy was it all pretty. There were a few plate sets that were stunning. Teacup sets and old plates with roses on them. All stunners but all very expensive. There was a teacup set that really caught my eye. As much as I wanted to get it, I just couldn't pull the trigger cause of the price. No one really talked to me, everyone was in their own world. I like the set up of the shop and how clean it is. I appreciate an organized store. Some things were practically priced and some things just made you shake your head. I'm sure I'll make my way back. And hopefully next time I'll find something that is old and stunning but will always fit my price budget.

I honestly thought it was only for the people who attended the church that it's affiliated with but it's actually open to the public! I saw a handful of posts on FB Marketplace so I took that as a sign to head in! It's a smaller shop. Very organized, clean and bright! I appreciate how everything is categorized by it's item. Clothes, antiques, home. It was very easy to shop and look around. I checked about 50% of the store out. I usually go to thrift stores with one thing in mind and that's to find China dishes or old frames. Their antique section was smaller but had quite a few beautiful pieces! I was able to grab a pretty trinket dish and a couple berry bowls. And they were reasonably priced! I appreciate that they aren't price gauging their customers. Thrifting is supposed to be fun and money saving! These folks are here for the people and not for crazy profit, I appreciate that! I look forward to coming back and supporting this thrift shop. I would like to donate and support them that way as well! I can't wait to see what kind of goodies I'll be able to find in my future shopping adventures here.

It seemed very healthy when we picked it out so I'm wondering if maybe it was diseased or something. I still give this lot 3 stars because the people working were all so incredibly friendly and helpful and I know they are non-profit so I didn't want to bother going back and making a stink about it.
