But the parking lot on this side was clear and I spotted the library box in this church parking lot. It is a narrow box on a thick post. Painted blue metal with a single clear door. The inside was quite tidy and well stuffed with mostly kids books. Nothing that took my eye today. The steward is Patrick White. It is charter number 27781 and the online caption reads, "Partnership is the name of this library. A local church started an after-school tutorial program called the Paradise Reading Church. The local Reading Recovery Teacher Leader, Jamie White, thought it would be a good idea to locate a LFL on site, but did not have the means to build and erect. In came the Comporium Pioneers to the rescue! They are volunteers from the local phone company who repurposed an old phonebooth into a very unique LFL. I was here during the holiday break so I did not have an issues. The library is easy to spot pained white with red and green trim on a thick black post. There were no doors on the library today. Inside, it was bare. Not a single book or pamphlet to be borrowed. This is charter number 24119. The Little Free Library database map has the installers name and this caption, "BSA Eagle project, including landscaping and benches." The library is in a slightly different spot than when it was installed as the online photo shows it against a wall. It's in the island now. Located in a residential neighborhood, this Little Free Library is easy to spot on the side of the…read moreroad. It's a wide enough street with a parking lane so you can stop easily but there is significant traffic here. Keep an eye out. The library is a light gray color with proper shingles. Standing on a single post with a single door, there is just the one shelf. However, the library is deep so there are two layers of books. It was quite full with a great variety of choices today. Self improvement, fiction, non-fiction, biography and much more. This is charter number 21004 and the steward has their name and email address on the LFL listing. The online caption reads, "We live on a busy street with a great sidewalk that goes on forever. Tons of people walk, bike, and run by every day. She taught science and English, but her true passion was for reading. After she retired, she often dreamed about opening up her own bookstore. Some romance, some young adult, some science fiction and even some religious books. Nothing that caught my eye today. This is charter number 71484. Whoa - I was so surprised to see someone took the time out of their day to review a neighborhood…read moreLittle FREE Library, then I realized it's the one that I drive past every day! What are the chances?! Ironically, I've been meaning to knock on the door of our neighbors to personally thank them. But, here it is on Yelp, so I'll just thank them here instead. Thank you for taking the time, effort, and using your personal funds to improve our neighborhood. My heart warmed a bit when I saw it go up a few years ago. So, thank you! (Side note: Your front yard always looks impeccable, it puts the rest of us to shame. :-) ) All of that said, here is my review: In my experience, the structure itself is well built and well maintained, the book selection is eclectic and varies. That's to be expected, that's the case with all FREE neighborhood libraries, you find books covering a wide range of genres and reading levels. I've found and read a few gems and donated a few in return. I'm truly grateful to live in a neighborhood with neighbors that care enough to make this available to all of us.

The library is a light brown with a shingle roof. Easy to spot in the corner of the parking lot. The single door opened to reveal two shelves of books. Some of them double deep but enough room to move them to the side to browse. A couple of hardcovers and the rest are paperbacks. Some thriller, romance, mystery, and "Random Acts of Kittens." None caught my eye today. This is charter number 65551 and the online caption in the Little Free Library database map reads, "The Social Committee of our HOA was responsible for the constrution,painting,assembling and collecting initial books for our development, THe Reserve at Goldhill. It has been a very successful operation for a few months now, so much that we are considering building another library soon. My favorite event is seeing families taking a bike ride to visit the library and exchange their books for another. The whole experience has been well received.."
