We love the art projects that they do with the keikis and their holiday performances inside the church. The only downside to this preschool is that the kids get really dirty since the play area is mostly sand and after it rains, the kids can get bad mosquito bites if they are prone to getting bit.

They have several different programs and we enrolled in their Parent Participation Program (PPP) which meets twice a week from 9:00AM to 11:30AM. The PPP is a great program and since it's called 'Parent Participation Program' you need to be there as well. Parents (Makua) can be either the mother or father or grandparents. Basically the PPP gets the keiki and the make ready for school so a lot of the kids are very small ranging from 1 years old to 4 years old. Hawaiian values such as Aloha (love), Mālama (Care), Kuleana (Responsibility) and Laulima (Many Hands) are some of the daily values practiced in class. Kids will sing mele, they do art, and play outside. Keiki O Ka Aina also has other programs such as HIPPY where they send a teacher to your home for an hour a day once a week and that program is useful for kids who cannot get to the Boys & Girls Club in Kahului where classes are located. The kumus in Kahului are Auntie Sherrie and Aunty Kanoe and they are exceptional!

There are truly no words big enough to express how grateful I am for everyone at ABA Classroom and…read morefor the love, patience, consistency, and care they have shown my son. Over time, I have watched him grow in ways that are difficult to put into words. Through their patience and unwavering support, he has developed skills that have made such a meaningful difference in his everyday life--from learning how to manage and regulate his emotions, to communicating through his words, expressing his needs, and navigating the world around him with greater confidence. What means the most to me is that they never stopped believing in him. They met him where he was, celebrated his progress, encouraged him through the difficult moments, and continued to give him the patience and understanding he needed to grow. Their consistency created a sense of safety and trust that allowed him to learn, explore, and become more independent. As a parent, watching your child develop new skills and find their voice is one of the most beautiful things you can experience. Some of the changes we have seen in our son may seem small to others, but to us, they are monumental. They represent growth, confidence, connection, and possibilities that once felt so far away. I am profoundly grateful for every single person at ABA Classroom who has been kind, patient, compassionate, and caring toward my son. Every interaction, every lesson, every moment of encouragement, and every ounce of patience has mattered. Thank you for seeing our son for who he is, believing in what he can become, and helping him grow in ways that words simply cannot describe. We will always carry deep gratitude for the impact you have had on his life and on our family.
