The pizza is always fresh, loaded with quality ingredients, and consistently delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel like family every time you walk through the door. My kids adore this place! We've become regulars because the food is that good and the atmosphere is so welcoming. It's one of those local businesses that deserves all the support it can get. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out. Highly recommend you won't be disappointed!!!

Cuisine: 3 Service: 1…read moreDecor: 6 Value: 7 Overall: 1 Many of the pizzerias in Lexington/Columbia sells pizzas by the pie, so I always love seeing a pizzeria that sells slices like NYC, where I lived 85% of my life. Therefore, I had to visit Nicky's for a taste. Traveling to eat every good slice of pizza in the five boroughs of NYC, my standards are very high. Sadly, Nicky's regular slice fell short of my expectations. The dough was lacking any taste while the crust was somewhat cardboard-ish. In addition, it felt like there was barely any tomato sauce. All in all, not a very good slice of pizza. What's worse was witnessing the owner and an employee arguing with a customer. Not every customer is in the right. I don't believe that concept. However, this was a small matter that could have been avoided. The customer complained, then the employee escalated the situation. Instead of the owner diffusing the argument, he poured gasoline on the fire. Not saying the customer was absolutely right, but a shouting match really dampens the mood of the other customers. I will not be back.

I ate there tonight (2.26.2024) It's a spot we go to a lot since it is so close to use. But I…read moreactually use the delivery service more than I go there when I am at the house alone. Someone down below said sometimes it gets five stars from there and sometimes, not so much. That is reflected in the overall rating, it seems. I gave it four stars overall because when they're on, it's a great place to eat. I am not an overall fan of pizza, but I love the pepperoni pizza from here. Most of the time I get a fried chicken sandwich with homestyle fries (they have to be homestyle) and it is excellent. Tonight was busier than expected for a Monday, but I do worry about them keeping this store open. They once had others in Gaston and Pelion, but the one in Swansea is the last one currently open. There's not a lot of ride by traffic at its location unless you see the sign and turn off of 321 to check it out. We started with the fried pickles, a favorite appetizer that we get there. Tonight, they were overfried and hard to eat. I got a Chef Salad and it was good as always. It was very fresh and crisp and the ranch dressing, which I believe is homem made, was excellent as always. It was very affordable and the serving was huge, more than I could eat, with a huge helping of ham and turkey. I took a photo of it, but it's blurry. The picture, not the actual salad.

Food was made fresh .. and piping hot. Our order was Togo so we sat in the car and went to work ... PIZZA is my favorite so I'm very critical ... but to my pleasure this was delicious .. My only concern was on the cheese half there could have been more sausage and next time I'll ask for extra cheese.. If you are ever in the Swansea area stop in... Also shout out to the staff very friendly and spoke to us even when just leaving to make delivery's

We found this place on a tourist website of places to go in the city and figured we'd stop in to…read moretry some brews and maybe lunch. We made the stop after taking a tour of the state capitol - which we also highly recommend! The place is huge with ample seating inside and out. And the setting? It couldn't be better! Especially for anyone who likes airports, airplanes, old buildings, trains, or just unique locations. The food... we ordered the Garlic Knots, Mediterranean Pizza, and a Pepperoni Pizza, and were not disappointed. The Garlic Knots - freshly made, good quality dough. We almost went back and ordered a second order of 'em. The pizzas? We loved them! My son said the bottom could've been a little bit crisper, but otherwise, the quality of the ingredients was good, and both tasted great. The Brews... we enjoyed two flights, not bad overall. Our favorite one out of the bunch was the ESB. It's their Red Ale, and it was a good one! The raspberry sour was also a pretty good drink. The other brews, not bad, but also not the best we've had. Overall, a great place to stop when visiting the city, and it's a great place for friends, families, old and young. I would gladly stop in again if I'm ever in the area.

They have plenty of seating indoor and out, it's very open, clean, staff is friendly, clean bathrooms. My husband and I are gluten free and we noticed a lot of breweries have been doing gluten reduced beers so we decided to check them out and see if maybe they offered that. They had a few cider options so we went with those - not their own however. They also offered pizza and some appetizers. We decided just to get the bean dip, nothing special, pretty generic. Overall an ok experience just not something to visit again.

We took our family to Veneziano's Pizzeria & Restaurant tonight to celebrate our 24th wedding…read moreanniversary. Unfortunately, while the service was excellent, the food was a major disappointment. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmesan, and I ordered the Penne alla Vodka with meatballs. The vodka sauce had an overpowering smoky flavor that tasted like either bad bacon or way too much liquid smoke. It completely overwhelmed the dish. The meatballs were even worse rubbery, bland, and tasted like they contained more filler and egg than meat. I honestly couldn't enjoy them. My wife's Chicken Parmesan wasn't much better. The chicken was dry, and the tomato sauce was surprisingly sweet, which just didn't work for us. The bright spot of the evening was our waitress. She was fantastic friendly, attentive, and did a great job taking care of our family. Our disappointment was entirely with the food, not the service. Being originally from New York, I've eaten Italian food from neighborhood pizzerias and family-run Italian restaurants my entire life, so maybe my expectations are higher than some. But good Italian food doesn't need to be complicated. It needs good ingredients, properly prepared sauces, tender chicken, and meatballs that actually taste like meatballs. For an anniversary dinner, this was unfortunately a big disappointment. Based on what we were served tonight, I'm not sure we'd return. Veneziano's could benefit from taking a culinary field trip to New York and experiencing what great Italian-American food can taste like.
