My husband and I did SECRET SHOPPING for Captain D's for many years and have ALWAYS been huge fans…read more A few weeks ago we visited one in our home state and the experience was so appalling, we swore to NEVER darken the doors of another one. We found ourselves in Mississippi during a travel out of town and decided to visit this Captain D's located in Corinth, MS. I must say, the experience couldn't have been better. Upon our arrival we were greeted as we came in and then at the counter did NOT feel rushed to place our order. The lady was friendly and answered our questions. My first shock was when the lady gave us one of those items that flashes or buzzes when your order is ready. Like at a BIG CHAIN. My second shock was when I got over the the condiment area and discovered REAL SILVERWARE. And it was clean. The condiment area was WELL STOCKED, clean and fresh. Lemons on ice, cut in wedges and the tarter sauce was cool. Everything was filled and this was about 3PM. When the order was ready my husband went to get it. Surprise #3 was REAL PLATES. No styrofoam but actual REAL PLATES. The fish was cooked fresh, hot and the green beans awesome and they have amazing hush puppies. The plate looked amazing. But to top it off, it was $5. What a bargain. If I lived closer this would be the destination for my husband & I at least 3 to 4 days a week. Captain D's at this location definitely has it GOING ON. Give them a try and I know you won't be disappointed.

This is why we felt we had to take a minute to leave a review. With that said, we had a very positive experience at this Sonic. Our order was taken promptly at the outdoor "box" and our order was delivered promptly. The food was hot, well prepared and tasty. Our carhop, Brian, delivered it with a brilliant smile, an apology for the slow service (which we didn't experience), and an attentive "yes sir, is there anything else I can get you". Such a refreshing, positive attitude in these days of poor service and indifference. Sonic will have a tough time holding on to this young man. With his attention to detail and eagerness to accommodate and please, he is destine for bigger and better things. In conclusion, don't hesitate to visit this Sonic. Service and food was good and when you are there, be sure to ask for Brian
