In between Lonsdale Street & Bourke Street in the CBD and bordered by the iconic tall red pillars, Melbourne's very own Chinatown makes its home on Little Bourke Street.
The main thing that needs to be noted about Little Bourke Street is the high quality of the restaurants. There is probably a 4 or 5 star restaurant every 2 or 3 shops - pretty good right? Pretty much every well-known and loved Chinese or even Japanese establishment is going to be on or around Little Bourke Street.
The only negative aspect is that it's a tiny little street so it is a bit cramped, but Chinatown's are always messy and a bit dirty. Hey! It adds to the atmosphere right?
